Taking off acrylic nails...

Help! I am going to soak them off but what should I put on them after to make them strong again? OPI? I want them off but they look so nice and my natural nails never grow!

ANWYAYS..... I hate those acrylic nails. I used to do them too, but theyre bad for your nails, reallllly bad!!

My nails dont grow - so I dont try and make them, either. I keep them short and shaped. I love them like this. You can paint them dark colors and not look like a Halloween freak.

Ummm - quite honestly, I really like the "Sally Hansens Hard as Nails" in the little tube shaped bottles. I find, for me, this works the best to get them tougher.

And, I dont know if your maill has a Kiosk, but you know those little stands that sell a buffer, a cuticle oil and a lotion kit? Those kits REALLLLY work REALLLLY good, for real.

OPI Nail Envy. I've never had acrylics but they do say the Nail Envy helps them to grow better.

Also try the Avoplex cuticle oil along with the Envy. And btw dark colours on short nails are all the rage, apparently !

Definitely get Nailtiques, there's nothing like it. They have it at Trade Secret, Ulta, Sephora, etc.

It's FABULOUS! I get my nails done a lot (usually pink and white) and in between my natural nails are shot. Terribly thin, rough where the artificial nail has been pulled off - you know what it's like! I don't get them done again until my nails are healthy. Nailtiques was recommended to me by a nail tech several years ago when I wanted to take a break from acrylics without having horrible looking nails, and although I wasn't expecting miracles, this stuff sure seemed like one!

It comes in 3 formulas: Formula 1 is a nail protein, Formula 2 is a nail strengthener and Formula 3 is a top coat. I swear by Formula 1 but lots of people rave about Formula 2 as well. Both should repair your nails and make them longer and stronger. If you're not sure, buy the small bottles of each and use 1 as the base coat and 2 as the top coat.

It's an amazing product! Your nails will be healthy again, harder, stronger and longer than they were before. The only time my real nails grow long is with Nailtiques! It could put you off artificial nails completely!
