Taking Magical Express a few days later?

OK, so my in-laws are arriving at WDW a few days early for our trip. They are renting a car and then returning it to the airport the day we arrive. Could they ride Magicial Express back with us? If I give WDW my flight info for them, does Disney check it to verify? I am not trying to do anything against the rules, just checking for the in-laws (I am sure some of you know how that is!!)

I am going to try and convince them to take a car from one of the rental agencies on site. . which ones are they again?

Yes.

Each Disney resort Guest is entitled to one airport-to-Disney ride on or after the day their reservation starts, and one Disney-to-airport ride on or before the day their reservation ends.

In your case, yes, giving DME your same flight information for all of you is the least confusing way to make the reservations for everyone

As long as they are listed on a WDW owned resort reservation, they'll be fine. They have to have a reservation to ride the DME bus though..which you seem to be taking care of.
The only 'onsite' rental companies are Alamo/National. They are located at the Car Care Center (by the entrance to MK, provides a shuttle ride) and the Dolphin, over by Epcot.
There are other rental companies in DTD at the DTD resorts...Budget is at the Doubletree for instance.
