DH said he found it on Shirt.Woot.Com. Its where he finds most of his shirts actually. They have some fun ones.

Cool! I'm glad to see that this is working out nicely for a Dismeet. I'm sure the kids will enjoy playing together for a little bit while you enjoy the parade!

Oh, that's a tough call. EPCOT at evening or MK at evening? Both are amazing in their own ways. I could definitely see MK being the choice just on account of Little Miss though. You can never see too much of Wishes.

This is pretty much my thought process to it. And I agree there is no such thing as too much of wishes!

You'll see DH in a lot of StarWars shirts this trip. I've been having fun with the outfits.

You need to send me a list of days/parks and I will do the same. I know we will be in some crossovers. We tend to avoid EMH parks as they tend to attract more crowds.

I'll try to remember to do that soon. If you need detailed where we are check back at the posts for each day. I was sure to get the dates labeled on them.

Kids really do get the cutest Disney shirts, I commented that to Mom today while we were shopping. Your trip is getting so close! After our adults only trip we really determined that we just can't go so hard without rest breaks. Add in the fact that we are going with a small child and we really wanted to be sure to pace ourselves.

YOu know they make some pretty cute adult shirts you just have to know where to look. Although they always look cuter on that age set.

(You are inspiring me to have him look through his shirts and figure out how many SW ones he has. I know there's a bunch. One with Jedi Mickey from SWW 2010 too. This could be fun...)

We will close out our morning with FPs for the Festival of Fantasy Parade. This also, due to great minds thinking alike, will end up being a Dismeet. @ashw100 and I ended up booking this FP separately but I’m excited it worked out that way because it will be nice to chat with her and her family while we wait for the parade.

19. Stop at Concierge schedule 4th FP+ for Epcot

So, is this something that can be done at the concierge desk of any resort? If so, I'll have to keep that option in mind when we park-hop.

Our Evening will again either be in Epcot or MK.

If you end up in Epcot, that's our arrival day and we'll be there from like 2pm on.

I am quite glad I could make it work really. Something clicked for Little Miss and she is all the sudden very excited for the trip. She "gets" it now, and one of the things she's asking for is Be Our Guest. The other request is out of left field and not really expected so might be a tad challenging to squeak in.... Apparently she REALLY wants to meet Aurora! Good thing our Epcot time is so flexible!

So before we get to the update, Another shirt arrived yesterday for DH...

Finalized Plans- 5/15-Departure Day

Little Miss Outfit- Apparently I never got a picture of the full outfit together But she will wear her white bows with this one. It works out as something cute yet comfy for the ride home.


This is the very sad day of Departure. After getting everything packed into the car we will say our goodbyes to our resort and then take a boat over to DTD and hang out there and do some last bit of shopping and lunch. Once we feel ready we will take the boat back and head towards home stopping as needed to stretch our legs. We debated and considered adding a park day on for this day but have decided that while it would be nice and it would do a good job of wearing little miss out for the trip we don't want to exhaust ourselves in the process.


Depending on how our schedules work, we may end up stopping in to have a visit with my cousin around the halfway mark.


The only thing that could change this day is if once the info for Star Wars Weekends is released and DH decides that he wants to see something in particular. If that happens we may add on a day to our tickets and spend a half day at HS but that would be doubtful. ​

Departure day planning is sad...but at least you will get to go to DTD....I know the feeling exactly though...it is so tempting because you are still so close to the parks, you feel like you should go...but any amount of driving after theme parking is too much in my books...I get tired driving on a regular day...wouldn't even want to try it after that! Love the outfits again of course!

Getting Crafty- Autograph book

I have been inspired by the many craft ideas for shirts and things that I keep coming across here on the dis as well as on pintrest. {We’ll see how many of my ideas actually get done! }
Since before our last adult only trip I knew that when I finally take Little Miss to Disney for the first time I wanted to make her autograph book special. So I always kept my eye out for cute autograph cards and saved them as I found them to my Disney clip art file.
My original plan was to figure out the exact details of the autograph book a little closer to the trip, but when I came across a deal for a free photobook on Shutterfly a while back I decided it made more sense to go ahead and make it now and save the money. After upgrades (I went up a size and added a few pages) along with S&H I ended up spending about $19. Not bad considering that this one is truly custom for Little Miss and the deluxe books on Disney’s site are about $20.
I have to say, that I really Love how it turned out and I can’t wait to see how the characters react to it once we get in to the parks. And Little Miss is already pretty thrilled with it as well. I've had to hide it so she won't tear it up before the trip.

O my gosh! First of all, I am completely enthralled by your PTR okay. Your daughter is the cutest thing and that Santa picture is perfect! Your meal planning a fantastic! I never thought of doing that! I am going to try to mimmick your creativity at meal time! You are a genius! I never thought about Carribean resort before because we are first time on site this coming Sept and we booked POR based on everybody's Disboard opinions. But I adore pink! and for that reason alone I will consider (on our next trip) staying there.

Feel free to do so. I got a lot of my ideas from others on the dis and pintrest stalking! I used Easywdw.com 's cheatsheets as a starting point for my touring plans. I'll be sure to let you know how well these plans work when we get back.

All of the special shows are in the afternoon/evening, so you'd have to blow your whole day. I'd just get on the road and have a leisurely trip home. (This is also making me realize how dangerous it would be for me to be within driving distance of WDW - I'd be there any slow weekend. )

Anyway, so sad that it's the dreaded going-home day! I hope you'll spend the drive recounting all of the wonderful memories you just made.

Oops... I guess this is the danger of posting before really giving a look over to the pre-written stuff! We have indeed decided to skip. The only thing that would make me consider something would be the warwick davis stuff and he isn't going to be there that first weekend.

This is also making me realize how dangerous it would be for me to be within driving distance of WDW - I'd be there any slow weekend.

Meh I've done a quick trip and came away feeling that while it was fun I felt utterly exhausted and felt like I barely got anything done. I much prefer these long trips. I kinda feel that Disney is not a quick trip kinda place.

Anyway, so sad that it's the dreaded going-home day! I hope you'll spend the drive recounting all of the wonderful memories you just made.

Welcome Gift

So back in the fall DH and I came across a sale on the Mickey stuffies at the Disney store. The price was nice enough that we decided we would go ahead and get one for Little Miss and then have Mickey give it to her upon arrival to our room. That idea has since grown a bit. She will now be getting a Belle Dress (found at a great price around Halloween), and Mickey Ears, and a special Letter from Mickey himself as well.


This is a close up of the letter that she will be getting: (Note: I was going to get pictures of everything individually but accidently forgot until I had already finished packing and sealing the things up for transport. oops! I’ll do my best to get better pictures of the stuff for the TR)

The only thing left to do is to figure out the logistics of getting it arranged on her bed without her seeing. Some of that will depend on when the room is ready.
