I say Go! That is a great deal!
My DH is a middle school principal and he would tell you to go too. He would make it clear that the work can be made up, but instruction cannot, so make sure your kid can handle independent study on those subjects...or work with the classroom teacher to see how they will handle the missed work/instruction. Make sure you tell you school weeks before you are to leave...it won't make anyone smile if you ask for a weeks worth of work on the Friday before you leave without having been told ahead of time. That late in the year, your school may be getting ready for end-of-grade/class testing. I would check to see if you are going to be missing those tests. Our school district allows trips like this, without penalty, but your district maybe different. Make sure you read the school policy regarding absences. If you and your child can live with the consequence from the the school enforcing the policy, then go. Have a fantastic time....I am personally jealous.
My DH would never take work off during the academic calendar, so we are stuck going to Disney at peak/holiday times.
But I would rather be at WDW at peak/holiday times than not at all!
