We are taking a group of 24 high school seniors in early March. We will be staying 4 nights at the HRH and are planning to purchase the $85 park tickets that are currently available on the website. We have a group rate at the hotel, so I feel like we are getting the best deal we can on that. Like everyone else, we are trying to get the most bang for our buck, so we need some advice from the veterans.

1) Should we go with the 2 park all you can eat meal passes and sipper cups? These are all 17 and 18 year old kids and we are having to put a price on their daily food total so we make sure that everyone takes enough money to eat at least 3 meals each day. Is there a better/more economical way to eat while you are there. We do want to do 1 or 2 dinners that will be really memorable, so need some suggestions for that as well.

2) What is the game room at HRH like? Teen friendly or is it more pre-teen?

3) What are some off-property restaurants (within walking distance) (or on-property if they are budget friendly) that we could do for dinners after visiting the parks each day?

4) We have been told that CityWalk won't really be good for our group since they are kids. Is that all there is to CityWalk, restaurants and bars? Any of you have teens that enjoy CityWalk? I saw something on the Universal website for a dinner and movie pass (I think it was like $24.99). Is that a good value?

5) We are planning to have a Mears bus ($599 round trip) for airport transportation. Our group is 34 people. From what I have been able to find online and through message boards, Mears is THE ground transportation in Orlando. Has anyone ever used anything else that was less expensive?

Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated!

1) I think the meal passes would be fine for HS guys, I'm 19 myself and we would have opted for that if we had the option. I'd suggest Hard Rock Cafe for a memorable restaurant.

2) Can't comment, never stayed there

3) the Citywalk restaurants weren't bad IMO, but I haven't a clue what was within walking distance

4) I'm 19 and I enjoy CityWalk ,you can just walk around and enjoy it .. there was a show outside of a restaurant when we were there, plus the movies.

5) can't comment, we drive
