Taking Food Through Airport Security

Has anyone done this? Friends are travelling to Disney this weekend and their flight will be over the supper hour. The airport they're travelling out of has very limited food options after going through security.

They are considering taking Subway (not the drinks) on board the plane for supper. Has anyone taken food through security and did you have any problems?

You should be fine. Just don't have anything liquid-like, ie pudding or applesauce along with your sandwhiches.

Condiment packets, if they bring any, would have to go in a baggie. The sandwiches will be fine.

I've taken Subway subs a few times with no problems. See if you can get the condiments on the side in those little packets and put those in your liquids baggie. We order the subs "dry" so the bread doesn't get soggy.
