Taking food into the parks?

We often take snacks and things in to Disney with us and this will be our first Universal trip.

Will we be able to carry in food with us at all?

You sure can. They have limits to sizes of coolers and such but snacks in a bookbag are great. As long as you don't have knives or anything baked in...
