No one has had problems taking food into the park right? DD has allergies and I would rather carry her food in than hope for the best with park food.

We have never had a problem, but we have only carried in snacks. I have read where others have taken in a soft-sided cooler with sandwiches and things and just rented a locker to store it.

When my kids were younger we always took in food. It was common for us to bring in fruit, snacks and even peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Security always saw it and never said anything.

Yes, you can bring in food. Disney is fabulous with food allergies though, so you may not have to.

No problems. I know you're not supposed to bring in glass beverages (but baby food/bottles and that type of thing is okay).

You can not carry in glass containers or bottles, and no alcohol. Otherwise anything else is fine. Just be prepared to open the cooler for security.

I have heard that only soft-sided coolers are allowed- but have never seen this in writing. Just for convenience I can't imagine lugging around a hard cooler anyway!

So rest easy, and bring your child's food in with you. I also agree that WDW is accommodating for those with allergies, but sometimes it's not worth taking a chance.
