Hi all. I'm a WDW vet, however I am taking a first timer to MK on the 24th ( I know, crazy crowds). But I DEF want to make an impression on her. Right now, I have CP booked at 8:20AM and Kona for 7:20PM... We will prolly just grab a snack and will more than likley be staying off site. But my question is are these good choices? We will have a car, and can drive anywhere on property. But she wont' have a PH (yet, lol). Not really trying to be romantic, or bust the bank. I have a $150 budget for 2 days in Disney. TIA!

They look like good choices. A character breakfast at CP is always a nice way to start (am assuming park does not open until 9 am - if park opens at 8, I'd hate to waste that first golden hour of touring time). Lunch whenever you get hungry, and I'd suggest CHH as a "nicer" CS option. Kona is a good choice for dinner, too. There are restaurants I prefer, but if she's a first-timer you want to get back to Main Street for Wishes, right? So you won't want to take too long to travel to another resort, or take the time required for a Signature.

According to Touring Plans, WISHES if for 10pm the night. So that should give me PLENTY of time

I don't see a problem with your plan at all and since the park doesn't open until 9, according to the calander on the WDW website, that awesome walk down an empty MSUSA is a great way to make a first impression (try to get to the gate by 8). I agree with Quin about CHH for lunch, especially if you sit upstairs where it is much quieter. You will probably be walking back into MK moments before the first MSEP begins after dinner, so grab a spot to watch and then after the parade move to a better view of Wishes, or when you get back, hop on the train to Fronteirland (bypassing the crowded MSUSA), tour a little bit, get a spot for Wishes and then get a spot for the second MSEP at 11.
