CM just told me I couldn't do it? We are flying in on a Friday- staying at the airport Hyatt--and wanted to use DME the next morning to our resort?

I just know someone has done this before, right? Should I just call back???:confused3

I think your arrival flight day just needs to be the same as your check in day. Just pick a flight number that matches the approximate time that you want to get DME and use that as your flight instead of your actual flight. They aren't going to check. I think you'll be better off getting your own bags, however, because if you have them pulled the day before you check in, it's not going to match your reservation.

I've never done this, but it seems like it would work.

That was my thought exactly!!! Just didn't know if they checked... and then thought bad about being sneaky. :scared:

You are not being sneaky, they don't check for passenger names on flights you are entitled to one trip from and one trip to MCO per person on the reservation. Just give DME a flight number that lands around the time you want to take DME and then you are set.

Check with the Hyatt. I believe they will bring your bags to DME for you when you check out. You won't need to lift a finger. Just walk on down to DME and get on the bus! :goodvibes

I've heard they will do that for a cruise, but not sure if they will do it for DME.

In any case...why bother?? You can just go to the DME checkin counter, with your bags, and get checked in that morning. Your bags will then go on your bus with you...well, underneath the bus. That way you will have access to them.
You shouldn't have any issue riding DME the day after you arrive at MCO...as long as your reservation starts that day.

OP doesn't have to let Hyatt handle the bags, but it is a nice option to be able to let Hyatt and Diney worry about the luggage and have it magically appear in your room.

I would absolutely let someone else do the schlepping (esp. w/ a baby in tow in my case) but ymmv.
