Taking bags to ME from MCO

We are going to be in Orlando at a convention before we go to DW, so we plan to take the free airport shuttle from our convention hotel to the airport and go to the ME stand. We'll have our bags with us. Will we be able to get them right away when we get to our resort, or will they be stowed and delivered with the airport luggage?

You will have the bags with you in that case. Just go to the ME desk and check in - luggage in tow and then head to the bus lines as directed. The driver will load the bags under the bus and transport them with you. At your resort he/she will unload the bags and you can just check in as usual. I did this one trip even though I did fly and it was fine - I did tip the driver for his assistance.

... and make sure to make a reservation for DME. You can't just show up and get a ride. For a WDW-bound ride, reservations are supposed to be made no fewer than 10 days in advance.
