Taking a Taxi from Disney

Anyone ever taken a taxi or a mears car to Disney from universal or visa versa? If so how much would I expect to pay?

of course, you can call mear's 800# and ask, but it is about $2 plus $2 a mile for a cab. I think it is 8 miles from disney to USF, but it may work out to $22 or 24 or something. The town cars are almost not much more. Airport to USF was $31 in a town car. Also, if you do not have a ressie, they have town cars, shuttles, and cabs waiting at the shuttle/cab areas, and they will peck at you like chickens, with offers for better fairs. We took a cab one day for $5 plus 2 tip. Another offered $10 for the same ride. I guess you might call them scalpers, or something like that. you know, not official rides, maybe the office doesnt know about it, cash only, whatever...
You mihgt also be able to catch one of the hundreds of shuttles, don tknow if you need a hotel key as a pass or what, but there are lots of them. Basically, I dont think you will have any problems getting anywhere
