Taking a reservation from 5 down to 4....mess things up???

If I make a reservation for 5 people and then call in the next few weeks to take it down to 4, will this create a problem? I want Liberty Tree for the week of Christmas but my daughter isn't sure if she can go yet so I may need to go down to 4. I don't want to lose the reservation but want to make sure we account for her just in case because I suspect it's much easier to go from 5 to 4 rather than 4 to 5.

Just leave it. If you call to change it you will very likely lose it.

No. If its a lunch ADR, you only pay for the meals you order. If its dinner, you only pay for the number of people who show up for the meal.

It's dinner....So as long as someone shows up for the reservation, we won't be charged the $10 fee for the person that doesn't come?
