Taking a moment to brag...just finished the Corporate Challenge

3.5 miles and I DID IT!! It's too bad there were so many people or my time would have been faster. I finished in 1 hour 4 min 30 sec!! BUT my third mile was a 15 min mile!! I am so proud of me

Great job!! I have run the corporate challenge before-its not an easy course. Tomorrow is the Freihofers Run for Women-I am running by myself but that is okay, I talk to everyone! I haven't run this race in 10 years, and am in better shape and lighter than when I ran it last!!! Hoping for good weather and to beat my last 5k time of 34 minutes.

Keep on walking/running-maybe we'll meet up sometime!

I just got back from the race-34:20 was my time (official time is 35:15 because they start from the gun, not when you get to the start line). I felt pretty good but don't think I am going to run this again-just too many people to set a good pace and keep it. I think I will stick to smaller, community type events. But I will keep on running, trying to do better each time.

Remember-the only race you can't finish is the one you never start.
