Hello - I have a couple of questions about my laptop:

1 - can I take it on as additional hand luggage? I will have a trolley dolly case (within Virgin size limit for hand luggage holding my wedding dress). If I have a laptop rucksack can I take that too?

2 - What do I need to be able to use it in the states? I don't need a power converter as it can take the voltage but I will need a plug converter - can I just use one of the cheap ones you buy at the airport/smiths/boots or does it need to be something special?

:confused3

Thanks

1) yes
2) yes

You can take your laptop as an additional piece of luggage, I do as I use mine for internet access and downloading photos taken and then burn them to a DVD for safe keeping
Only if you are in UC will you get a power point AFAIR to use on the flight

Any UK-USA plug adaptor will work. If you have WiFi you can also find access points all over in places such as Starbucks, many hotel lobbys etc..

Hooray! Thanks guys :0)

In the hotels and Starbucks, there is a fee, not a lot though, plus its Broadband speed :) (the airports are also broadband speed, some of the gate areas have acess in MCO, some do not, its a case of hunt the wifi)
