We are staying at Cypress Pointe Grandvillas. We need to get a friend to the airport for a flight out and they will return later on during our stay. I've read something about a bus from the airport that drops off at Downtown Orlando or International Drive for $1.25. Anyone know anything about this?

There are LYNX buses that run between the Downtown Orlando bus station, and the Airport. Fare is $1.25. Luggage is restricted to one carryon sized item. From Downtown Orlando, you'd need to get a transfer to get to the TTC (only stop at Disney) Total travel time is in the vicinity of 3 hours. Visit www.golynx.com for maps and schedules.

I might suggest Mears instead. $15, and it'll be more convenient.

Thanks for the advice. Could I pick up my friend at the International Drive stop and how long would travel time be for that? Is $15 for Mears round trip or one way?

Mears is one way. It's also direct, and much faster than Lynx would be.

To get to I-Drive from the Airport, I beleive you'd need a transfer at the Downtown Bus Station. You'll have to refer to www.golynx.com for more information.

I checked the Lynx bus schedule and found the route to the Orlando Airport on INt. Drive From what I read I can drop my friend off at the belz Outlet at the correct time and she will get to the Airport in 49 minutes. Does this sound right? I have never used a bus system so this is so new to me. $2.50 is so much cheaper than $30 and my friend doesn't mind riding on the bus. What do you think? Is Lynx system reliable or do they often run off schedule? I really do appreciate all the help. Thanks :D :D
