So turns out we have a lot of Dvc points that have to be used before December 1st or we lose them. I would say I am a Disney travel expert when it comes to an adult only trip. We'll this year we will be taking our twins when they are about 14 months old and I am clueless on what to do or expect. I've read many of the differnt forums and the more I read the more questions I have. So here goes.

1. Airport travel - we plan on getting a small cheap umbrella stroller for the airport the renting a nice double stroller when we get to the hotel. Can we take the stroller all the way to the gate? If it can go all the way to the gate do we get it back at the gate in Orlando or do we need to wait for it at baggage claim?

2. We will be purchasing 3 seats on the plane that way we have the extra room in case a kid wants to sit in the seat. I've read that two lap children can't sit in the same row but if we purchase 3 seats and only 1 lap child can we sit in the same row?

3. We most likely will be getting a two bedroom at one of the monorail resorts since their grandmom is going, so we will have a lot of the amenities of home which will be nice. What's the best place to have diapers and food delivered from?

4. Can a stroller go on the monorail while open?

5. I think I've red a lot about what I need to do while at the park but is there anything yi might need to know that might not be so we'll known?

I'm sure I'll have a ton more questions before the trip in November. But here's what I got for now. Thanks for all the help!!!

There are a number of threads here about traveling with twins. If you do a search, you'll find them.

Yes, you can gate check a stroller and you will pick it up on the jetway as you disembark.

You should be fine on the plane if you are in a three seat row with three purchased seats and a lap child.

Strollers can be used on the monorail.

Lots of options for food/diaper deliveries. Amazon is one; people will likely suggest others.

We just took 10 month old twins in February!

1) We brought a nice stroller for the airport and plane- gate checked for free- we had a bag to wrap it up in to protect it- can take it all the way to the gate

2) If you purchase 3 seats and one lap child you can usually all sit in the same seat. The reason it is a problem if you only buy 2 seats is that you would then end up with 5 people in your row (your family plus the other seat) and there are only 4 oxygen masks per row on most planes

3) We had our diapers delivered from Amazon- nice and easy

4) Yes

5) Table service is much easier than quick service IMO

• we bought little baby head phones for the plane- much to our surprise they kept them on and slept for 90% of both flights
• we opted for an early morning direct flight even though it meant driving two hours to Chicago instead of a regional flight (we're doing the opposite in a month flying to San fran with the babies so we'll see the difference!)
• my parents came to help but they didn't come until we had already been there for four days- we wanted some "just the four of us" time at wdw and that worked out very well
• we made two table service adrs every day- this may be controversial however we found counter services meals to be immensely more stressful than table aervice meals. At table service our kids were perfectly content to sit and eat the food we gave them, they loved sitting at the big tables and loved trying new foods. At counter service it was much too stressful eating with kids so we stick with table service- we brought disposable mats that we could put on the table in front of them so they weren't waring off the dirty tables and plenty of wipes to clean the chairs.
• some of their favorite meals were 50's prime time, sanaa (loved the naan), and rose and crown for the fireworks
•we used magical express but brought our own luggage from the luggage rack instead of having dme pick it up- that way we weren't without essentials
• we did a few rides but mainly enjoyed the sites and sounds and took it at our babies' pace
• we had each day's diapers snacks etc organized in separate plastic baggies so in the morning we just grabbed one and were good to go
• we stayed at the beach club so spent almost no time on buses (walked to dhs and epcot- most of the time to get to mk we just walked through epcot and got on the monorail)
• we had a nice twin stroller that we brought ourselves - of course our girl just wanted to be held so I spent most of the trip wearing her- it was great :)
• the babies definitely woke up often at night so some mornings I took the babies to the park or the quiet areas of the resort myself while mom caught up on sleep

I'm sure I could come up with more tips given time too- I really enjoyed the trip and the family time- we are going back in November when they'll be 20 months and can't wait!

The first time we took our twins was at 15 months. One was a good walker at the time and the other was just starting out. We had such a good trip. They loved it. The best part was how easily they slept in the stroller on the go, as compared to when we took them at 2.5! We rented a stroller instead of bringing ours. Easier to transport. Take a baby carrier like the Ergo. I used mine every day. You do not have to fold the stroller on the monorail but if it is crowded they may ask you to. You will be VERY HAPPY you bought three plane seats. The best flights we took from 1-2 were when the kids were in a car seat on the plane. So much easier. But even if you don't need a car seat you will like having the extra space and you can all sit together. Some planes do allow for two lap infants in the last row, but not always. We have flown with both on our laps back there. We did not repeat it. I ended up holding two babies the whole flight! We had a huge box shipped with food and diapers, I think from Amazon. We stayed at the Dolphin and I think I had to pay for the delivery? We did not have any trouble getting our stuff though. Feel free to PM me if you have any other specific questions!
