Takeaway Delivery

Hi-has anyone had takeaways delivered whilst staying in a dvc resort?
If so do they deliver to your room or front gate?
Asking the question because we have a baby with us this year and will want to order in some nights.

I have not the slightest idea, but would also be interested. I think some places you can get pizza but I'm not sure what else. If you don't get much response you may want to change the title to Carryout Delivered is how it is called over here.

If you are staying at the BWV, the BCV or the VWL, you can order room service. There should be a room service menu in your room. AFAIK, the "condo-like" DVC resorts do not offer room service.

I have friends who order Papa John's pizza which is delivered to their room at SSR...

We had domino's delivered to our room at OKW

Most stand alone buildings ( SSR , OKW ) they will bring right to your room.

Others will deliver to the Lobby and you meet them there.


We have done this at most opf the resorts we have stayed with no problems at all.

While staying at one of the Maingate area off-site hotels in 2006 (can't remember which one now), we had great Italian food delivered by Bruno's. I can't attest as to whether they'll deliver on-property, but here's their contact info if you wish to inquire:
