take towels or use theirs

Do you take beach towels or do you use bathroom towels from the room??? trying to pack right now so I need advice!!! Just going to use the pool at hotel not the parks.

We take our own beach towels (with Tink on them!!) from home. But, we don't use them much unless we're going to a water park. There are so many chaises at the water parks, that is helps to have a 'special' towel that can be seen from a distance!! But for the resort pool, we usually just use the towels we get there.

The resorts have towels for you to use out by the pool.

We take our own beach towels for the water parks. And they are perfect place markers for the loungers.

My DD10 and DD7 wear those terry cloth coverups while traveling to and from the waterparks and pools. They don't need towels. DH and I each take a beach towel. It does help when packing to not have to drag beach towels for everyone!

When going to the pool and water parks we bring our own beach towels from home. I don't really like brining the ones from the resort too much.

We take them as well - the pool towels are never big enough, and I hate lying on a chair that has someone else's sunscreen smeared all over it! Yes, I wash them while at WDW too!

I usually take our own but this year decided to save on the luggage/weight and not take any. The hotel we are staying in provides towels by the pool and in the room. When we go to Discovery Cove towels are provided and we are just going to hire them when we go to a water park.

I just use the hotel's. I also rent a car so I put a few extra towels in the car to sit on and sometimes after it downpours we use them to dry off. At end of trip I just bring any towels in the car back into room.

I bring one for myself and my husband but my kids can use the resort towels because they are smaller.

FYI: the value resorts do nOT have towels for you at the pool- you have to use the ones in your room.

I just can't give up enough space in my suitcase for 5 large beach towels so I will give up enough for me and my hubby to be able to have our own.

Is Pop Century considered a value resort? Do they have towels for the guest? Also, how much is it to rent towels at the water park?

We always take our own. I usually buy new disney beach towels before we go. I wrap them in disney paper and give them to DD's as one of their gifts on the trip. They always like getting something new, and they love to open presents!! (No matter how old they are! !)
