I have a dining reservation at the Plaza restaurant but I'm thinking I just want to go in and order and then get it to go so I can get a spot on the curb for the parade. Anyone done this before?

I've never gotten in (on time) and out (very quickly) at the Plaza.

I don't think any of the TS provide any takeout??? especially in parks. If it were me I would change to another time or cancel and just grab some QS for the curb.

Go into Casey's across the street and get a box of corn dog nuggets. Excellent for munching while sitting on a curb!

TS restaurants are not set up for to go orders. You will need to keep your Plaza reservation, be seated and order. When your food arrives you can ask for it to be boxed up. However, this can take a while so it would be better to pick up something at a Quick Service. Unfortunately, not all QS places have to go containers either so you might want to take your own containers or ziploc bags depending on what you order.

Even if I can't order take out per se, I can certainly order the to go container when I placed my food order. Thanks!

Years ago you could get take out from some table service restaurants, you can't anymore because of that pesky dining plan. There were guests that wanted a full table service meal to go but only wanted to use a Quick Service Credit on the dining plan so now they won't do take out any longer.

December 2010 I was able to get one entree order to go because my son (6 years old) was hungry but the other 7 of us were not. We were NOT going to go in and sit and watch him have couscous (from the Moroccan TS restaurant), and they took pity on me and got me an order to go. But it sure was NOT normal.

I always wanted to do a take out brownie sundae there. I wish they just had one at the Plaza ice cream parlor, but they don't and then they removed it from Storybook Treats. No brownie sundaes in MK without a reservation...
