Take Out Options from Epcot

We just changed our flight time for our arrival, non-park day. We are staying at the YC but unfortunately, I can't get a reservation at Beaches and Cream that evening. (going to keep trying. on the bucket list and it is the perfect opportunity to try it)

I am the family AP holder. Can I go into Epcot and get "to-go" from Sunshine Seasons or somewhere in the WS (France or Italy). I assume you cannot get any take out from Table service places.

Thanks

Restaurants in general in Epcot are not equipped to handle Takeout. I don't know exactly each QS spot. Most will give you your choice on a plate only covered with an additional plate ( if you ask) & don't have bags or any utensils.

The TS restaurants are not set up for to go orders, but at the QS restaurants you would be able to purchase something and take it back to the YC. However, most of the QS restaurants don't have "to go" boxes and will only give you a second paper plate as a cover, although I know Les Halles has "to go" containers. You can take your own containers and/or Ziploc bags to transfer the food and a larger bag to carry everything back to your resort.

another idea what about a trip to Disney Springs and either Earl of Sandwich or Wolfgang Puck counter serve? WP in one area is a counter serve but is like a table serve

That sounds like an unnecessarily complicated idea. There are tons of places to eat around those Epcot resorts. Why not try one of them? The Fountain at the Dolphin is similar to B&C (it's actually better food). There is also Hurricane Hanna's by the pool at YC/BC, the Crew's Cup Lounge (YC) has fantastic food, and if you want a food court type place, Picabu at the Dolphin.

If you want something quick to eat, maybe go to one of the bakeries, such as France. Their ham and cheese croissant is amazing. They also have plenty of pastries and such.

I completely agree with this. The Fountain is great and a really good alternative to B&C. If you want QS, the Boardwalk Bakery has some great salad and sandwich options, plus you can get pizza, hamburgers, hot dogs, etc. on the Boardwalk as well. If you want a casual TS, Capt. Grille at YC is great as well. There are SO many options at the EP resorts. There really is no need to walk all the way into EP and try to take food out for dinner.

Thanks for the suggestions. We don't get to the resort until 8:00/8:30. Too late to head to Disney springs which would have been my first choice. Great idea to head to the fountain. I've read excellent reviews. WS is an option since we are only there for a long weekend and my mom wanted to try the French pavilion since she's never been.

We got takeout with the typical takeout boxes in Mexico and Morocco. It was in no way complicated.

Last time I was there, the Marketplace at BC had plate tops and paper bags sitting out for to-go meals. Maybe you could grab a few of those and head to EPCOT for quick service.
