most table service restaurants are not set up for take out...I have been in line to check-in at several different restaurants and heard people being told no, we don't do take-out. It's been pretty rare that anyone reports success on this topic (it does come up at least once a week, seems like.)

However, as PP said, doesn't hurt to ask. If it's a slow night, they might be able to accomodate you. Just so you know when you ask you probably will be told no.

It doesn't hurt to ask,but we have tried on several occasions to get just dessert or Cheddar cheese soup from Le Cellier and have been told" No , they aren't set up for take out"
