take out on deluxe dining

can anyone tell me if you can take food to go from table restaurants on the deluxe dining plan? thanks

The answer is generally no, the kitchen is not staffed for takeout

some have reported that at the hotels, they have been able to get takeout (have seen reports from Kona)

you can get room service if that helps

But that would not be because one is participating in the Deluxe Dining Plan vs. the basic Dining Plan (or any dining plan); it would be because the restaurant is able, at the time of the request, to handle a take-out order
