I haven't stayed at BC before, this is my first time also. We will be there 14-21 Sept. I just re-read your intros and it seems I was there when you went on your honeymoon in Sept 2001 also! Such a small world!

It really is a small world! When we went on our honeymoon, the place was empty! So many people had canceled their trips because of 9/11.

We will have to try and meet up at BC! I hear the pool is fantastic! Really looking forward to some down time at the pool this trip. We are always so go, go, go!

Another busy weekend ahead. Little League Registration and basketball game Saturday along with dinner with my cousin who is in town. I haven't seen her in maybe over 2 years! Then Sunday is Matthew's first wrestling meet and date night for me and the hubby. Monday we are taking off for the Holiday.

I am going again in March and staying at POR. I am also on a weight loss journey to try to loose before the upcoming trip. I want to have more energy and be more comfortable to tackle the parks each day. :)

Welcome! We stayed at POR in November 2011 and loved it! We were in building 14. We have also stayed at CBR :)

Hi, I'm joining in! We're going to be in the World Sept. 11-18th, so some of our dates overlap! Your family is adorable!
Augh, I feel you on the pretrip weight loss. I have a solid 5-10 pounds I'd like to drop but it's been hard lately! Pretty much the only thing that works for me is tracking in MyFitnessPal! The last time I did it religiously I lost about 10 pounds in 2 months. I need to get back on that and stop making excuses!! Congrats on your progress so far!

We are planning our second trip to WDW now, not going until May 2015 and I can't wait to go back!!

Awesome! Out of all my trips, only 2 have not been in September. We love September! It's low crowds (5-20 minutes waits) and still hot so you can still enjoy the pools and water parks!

I see you have stayed at Beach Club a few times. I take it you like it? We are staying there for the first time and we are really excited!

Beach Club is our "Happy Place"! My kids love it and they know their way around it. I will say that it can be pretty confusing for a new person though! The hallways twist and turn and pretty soon it feels like you have been walking forever! Stormalong Bay is the best and the slide is wicked awesome! Movie night on the beach is another family favorite and of course walking over to the boardwalk for pizza, ice cream or candy is amazing! If you need any pointers or advice feel free to ask! One thing worth mentioning is that the only self serve mug refill place is in the marketplace by the lobby and can be quite a hike depending on where your room is!

:welcome: Tracking seems to work the best for me too but I hate doing it! But I know it works. Lost track over the weekend and I know I gained. Back at it again today!!

Thank you for the tips! Can you recommend a building/room number that is the most centrally located to everything? We booked a Garden View room.
 
Hello everyone! What a busy weekend!! Saturday was baseball registrations. We had over 100 people come through so it was a busy 3 hours. After that I headed over to Joey's basketball game and caught the last quarter. They lost but only by 4 this time! They are getting better! LOL! Saturday night my cousin and her 3 kids came over for a visit. They moved to Michigan a few years ago and it's been that long since I have seen her. It was so great getting to catch up!

Sunday was Matthew's first wrestling meet of the year. He finished in 2nd place! We are so proud of him! But man, are these meets LONG!! We had to be there before 8 AM to weigh in and register. They didn't start the matches until after 9:30 AM. Then he has to wrestle 3 times and it's about 45 minutes to an hour between each one. We didn't get to leave until after 1:30 PM. This will be my new Sunday routine until March. Not sure how I feel about that! LOL!

Sunday the boys spent the night with their Aunts so Joe and I were supposed to have Date Night. Well, neither of us felt like going out so we started to watch The Walking Dead on Netflix. I have been scared to watch it because I am scared of Zombies. They are the one thing that just freaks me out! But Joe wanted to watch it so I said I would try. OMG! I am totally addicted to that show now!! Hahaha! The story line is really good. It's a bit gorey and I have to cover my eyes now and then but I made it through and didn't manage to have any terrible nightmares! We watched all of season 1 Sunday night. Monday we were off for the MLKJ Holiday so we watched Season 2. I have to get caught up by Feb because that's when the second half of season 4 starts!! I told Joe that if we had a Zombie Apocolypse, I would head to Disney and live in the Castle! :rotfl:

Today started out a bit rough. Weather here is pretty bad. Had to drive in a whiteout...cars in ditches and pretty slow going. But once I got to work, it was sunny and barely a flurry. So weird how the weather can change in just a couple of miles.

Not much planning on the Disney trip...waiting for airfare to be released. I have until March to plan our ADR's.

How's everyone else doing?

Not good results this week. Gained .5--not sure why I do this to myself. I have a REALLY good week and then slack off. You would think the big loss would keep me motivated to keep going strong. Instead, I feel like it gives me permission to cheat a bit! :confused3 Oh well, back to counting my points and making wise choices. I was taking a diet pill that seemed to be working but then wasn't feeling a bit weird so I stopped. Well, I don't think it was the pill as I seem to be getting a cold. Once I feel better, I will try the pills again.
 
Sorry - I missed your last update. :) Sounds like you've had a crazy but fun week!

I know that gaining .5 seems like it's a step backwards, but keep in mind that your body does fluctuate, and you may be "losing size" but not necessarily "losing weight"... I won't even start into my schpeel about it... LOL Because it's something I've become very passionate about. You cannot beat yourself up over a .5 lb weight gain. As D said, it could be caused by any number of things. Just keep on doing the right things. Oh and I tend to be the same way - if I see a loss, it makes me think I can cheat a little. But remember, the only person you are cheating is yourself!
