Take DME but flight the next morning?

I was just wondering if it's possible to take the DME the night before we go on the flight.

Let me explain. We have an early flight on Saturday morning and because we are going internationally, the DME must schedule our pick up time at 4 hours before flight time. So I was wondering if we can take the DME the night before (Friday night) to the airport and stay at the airport hotel for the night and then take our flight the next day?

I've never done this before and I'm wondering if it's possible. We don't rent cars so DME and the Disney buses are our only mode of transportation. So if this is possible, how would I register for it without a flight for that day?

If anyone has done this before, I would really appreciate your input.

Depending on what time you want to leave just pick a flight departing MCO on Friday and use that as your flight. After being dropped off at MCO just proceed to the hotel to check in.

However, if I called DME and explained the situation, would they be able to just register me for a certain pick up time without the flight info? Just wondering if maybe there are others who do this and they have a code on their system for such situations?

Yes, you can call DME directly at 866-599-0951 to explain your situation, and they'll put it in their system to assign you to a bus for some time Friday evening. There's no need to tell a white lie about a Friday night flight you won't be on ... that would work, but there's no need to do it that way.

You are entitled to a ride back to the airport on or before your check-out day ... it makes no difference when your flight is, or even whether or not you're flying at all.

But make sure you call the DME number above ... if you call the main Disney number you won't get a DME cast member, but rather a reservationist who hasn't been trained in the intricate ins and outs of exactly how DME works.

And by the way, that's not a slam on the reservations CMs. I know I sure don't want to call DME and ask one of them how much a 5-day park hopper ticket costs!

I'm glad they allow for such situations. I was a little nervous about providing a flight that I wasn't taking. I will definitely give them a call.
