The title of this thread needs to be changed to "pork on pork"!

I work in a restaurant and we'll drop ANYTHING Into that fryolator! Choc Chip cookies, wonton wrappers (turn out like Munchos).. you name it!

Oh! And the best was we rolled a small ball of mashed potatoes in a little bit of seasoned flour and dropped them in! REALLY good! Made a smashing appetizer topped with sour cream and caviar!

We call that "meat candy."

Chicken livers wrapped in bacon cook for 45 min. Sounds gross but is really THE BOMB. Everyone loves them if I dont tell what it is.

Oooh, you should then put it into a Krispy Kreme doughnut bun.

There is a guy called Chicken Charlie...he FRYS EVERYTHING. He had been on a few talk shows lately.

He is famous for Fried Twinkies!!!!!:cloud9:

Here is one article I found about him.

http://abcnews.go.com/WN/Story?id=3712876&page=1

deep-fried Oreos and veggies are just the tip of the iceberg for this master of the double wide. To date, Chicken Charlie's arsenal of heart-attack inducing treats runs about 25 deep. Boghosian batters up everything from cheesecake, cheese balls and hot dogs to s'mores, Twinkies, and, as of last year, his famous Krispy Kreme chicken sandwich, a piece of chicken nestled between two halves of a Krispy Kreme donut.

But this year, he debuted his craziest concoctions ever -- deep-fried frog legs, deep-fried Coca-Cola, and, Elvis' favorite, deep-fried peanut butter, honey and banana sandwiches.

But those extra calories don't seem to be hurting Chicken Charlie's business. According to Boghosian, his trailer grosses approximately $1.5 million every year. By his estimates, in the last five to six years he has sold close to 100,000 Twinkies, about 200,000 Oreos, at least 10,000 Krispy Kreme chicken sandwiches since their debut two years ago, and approximately 300 to 400 of two of this year's newbies -- s'mores and peanut-butter and banana sandwiches -- every day.

I think they meant grosses OUT 1.5 million people a year!

And 70's...ah, a cold Oscar Mayer, in all of its wobbley glory...I'm still alive! I'd wash itdown with a swig of my mom's Tab, then squish the cap back onto the glass bottle, hoping she wouldn't notice.

I just have to say, I tried a deep-fried snickers bar this summer and it was divine. And I also tried a deep-fried twinkie. I can't even tell you how good it was-tt was sex on a stick.

There is a place around here that wraps hot dogs in cheese and bacon and then deep fries them. I think they call it an "Augie dog". We call it "heart attack in a basket".
