Planning a 2 family trip to WDW in Dec. Thanks to Mary's site (great site, Mary !!!) have ressies with AP rate at Poly. In speaking with the CRO folks, I understand the occupancy rates are way down even though many of the AP blocks of rooms are taken. Has anyone out there gotten a good deal by showing up the front desk of a resort and booking a room on the spot. If you have, what resort and what rate? Better or worse than AP rate? Since CRO's cancellation policy is 5 days we're not sure if we should take a chance. Thanks in advance.
