What exactly is a tag? I see people talking about them and there is a tread about them right now but what are they? How do you get tagged? Do you have a tag?

A tag is the words or phrases that can be under your user name. You just get tagged at random, so there's no way of knowing when.

I don't expect to be getting a tag anytime soon, because I'm relatively new around these parts.
