Tags for Dummies?

I enjoy scrapbooking but have zero imagination. Is it as easy as it looks? I think I might like to try it if it is. Where can I find some examples or ideas?

I am not comfortable with tags as yet. I have used them a few times but I am not quite happy with my results. If this link doesn't take you to the tag section of 2 peas, just click on Tag, you're it, in the left margin. This should give you some ideas to get you started

I have tried doing Tags, but like Chessie, I am not pleased with what I produced...They just don't look as good as others I have seen (actually they don't look anywhere near what others look like! )...I know it is trial and error and I keep trying them, so hopefully someday I will be able to make great tags! They are so neat to use on pages!

When tags first started becoming popular, I just didn't "get it" at first. Eventually I saw a few I liked, and then decided to get brave and joined a swap on my DisneyScrappers email list. I made a Sorcerer Hat for MGM & a Test Track sign one. I was really happy with the way they turned out!

I just recently bought the Coluzzle tags template -- it lets you cut 3 sizes of 3 different shapes of tags. If making them is something you think you'd like to do, this is a great way to start!

Tags are also nice for putting dates or names on layouts (I like using the metal rim tags for that). And on the last QVC Creating Keepsakes show, they showed tiny pictures (shrunken on the computer) placed inside the metal rim tags. They looked awesome!

They're great for journaling on, too.... that's an easy way to start using them without feeling like you have to embellish them a lot.
