Rowdies wern't too bad. Just made a mess of the basement. Boys will be boys...

I served a wonderful chicken salad, tuna salad with croissants, a spinach salad and fruit salad. For dessert, did the brownie thing for the boys and served scones with "american" clotted cream(DANAUK wasn't around to whip me up some proper cream!!)
Yea, it was a little weird. She was new to the neighborhood so probably felt a little uncomfortable. She is a great lady though. I wish she would have told me what she could eat. You are right IBOUNCE, so much easier for the hostess.

There were also 2 teen boys that came (didn't know this until they showed up) but anyway, they were trying to impress Sam. She wasn't at all impressed. I told her that they would gladly take her to homecoming and this is classic..."Mom, that is worse than going with your cousin" hehehe She is not that mean but the boys were a little strange. Into NOTHING-no sports, clubs etc while Sam is into everything. No match made in heaven there!! hehe

BTW, my youngster of 16 is officailly on the road-alone-for the first time yesterday. Got her license on Tues night. I'm a nervous wreck!!! Wish me luck!!! She is at Walmart pcicking up Gov school pics as we speak! AACKKK

off to play with Lauren. Have been ignoring her getting ready for the luncheon. So now to make up for lost time Tea party in her sweet sounds kitchen. yea!!

Just got back from the pool and need you Tagteens to explain something to me. Why do the teenage boys wear boxers under their bathing suits....and not only that, why do they have to let their boxers show? And I KNOW they pull them down just a bit on purpose cause I saw it everytime they got out of the pull I can tell you right now what color and make boxer every teen guy was wearing and I wasn't even TRYING to look Seems a little ridiculous to me

And a little something for geffric....Best thing about going to our pool? FROZEN CANDY BARS!

Yes, me too! The whole lunch sounds yummy! I LOVE chicken salad except.....some think I'm a little strange cause I can't stand celery and everyone around here puts tons of nasty-tasting celery in their chicken salads so I end up looking like a 3 yr old picking out all the tiny chopped up pieces of celery...I've even lied once or twice and told people I was allergic just trying not to seem rude

I've lied about the usually-- bad haircuts and bad clothes. I'm trying to think what bigger white lies I've told. Hmmmmmm. Oh, I've got one. This is bad. The pretty baby lie. Need I say more? But I really do try not to lie. If I can get away without saying anything, that's what I'll do.

I'm really afraid of hurting peoples' feelings. And I'm a confrontation avoider too. It's actually not a good trait. But I'm getting a little better about these things as I get older.
