I got a postcard in today's mail---which resort should I pick if I go maybe early May? Place your votes/suggestions----need to butter up NC Beast this weekend for the greenlight.

Not set on dates or level---not Poly---way over budget...

I didn't know until he got himself out of the situation and he was upset that I was not at Crabtree---even though it was around midnight by the time he got there. I think it had happen on his night off or when he was working days. We still have fun, but its more subdued.

Can't help much with your resort stay question. Last time we went to WDW was 5 yrs ago....stayed at CBR which was a nice moderate but I haven't seen the others so can't compare.....we are staying at Coronado Springs in early June....heard it was nice and Tinkbackwards just stayed there as well.

We took the 7 nt Disney Cruise the year after WDW and got hooked and have done 4 cruises since.....got lucky and can take a quickie WDW break this year as well......I'm so excited....such a kid at heart!

Hi y'all!

Did someone say they were going to WDW in May sometime? I did check the wheel...but I'm wondering if anyone is going to be there May 15-18....and didn't see anyone going then. If so, let me know quick. I'm cancelling some specialty cruises since our trip moved but wanted to offer them up....will give them to folks on the cruise threads if no one here can use them.

[COLOR=009966]NC Belle[/COLOR] I don't want to make you envious but I was in the Harrods chocolate shop last weekend!! London is an hours away from me by train so I could be at the chocolate counter in under 2 hours from leaving my house!!

[COLOR=FF0033]cadburysmom[/COLOR] I love Vienna too, I went to Austria when I was younger on Girl Scout camp. I liked the scenery in Switzerland a little better, the mountains were bigger. I've been to Ascot too but not on big hat day! I wasn't too impressed really.
My 3 places I would love to visit but haven't:
Australia: the outback and to see Ularoo (Sp? Ayres Rock)
Kenya: To go on safari
Egypt: To see the great pyramids and the valley of the kings (I love teaching the Ancient Egypt topic at school!)

I had always wanted to go to the Grand Canyon but did that when I went to Las Vegas in 2002.

QOTD: Are there any activities you have always wanted to do. When I was younger I decided there were 4 things I wanted to do in my life:
1) Go whitewater rafting
2) Fly in a hot air balloon
3) Swim with dolphins
4) Visit the Grand Canyon and fly over it.

I've done numbers 1 (I did this in Austria on Girl Scout camp), 3 and 4 just number 2 left.

Oh well, I better go I need to go to the supermarket for a few last minute supplies and then have to be at the hair dressers in just under 2 hours.

You guys are totally nuts I get a kick out of reading your posts from last night. Do any of you notice a trend? Its mostly about food!!!

Having a bunch of kids over today so gotta get the house picked up. Won't do any good. They'll trash it in 4.2 seconds anyway.

BichonBarb how many gaming systems do you guys have?

We have the old school Playstation and Nintendo64 in a closet somewhere, and the PS2 and GameCube hooked up. Anyways, if your boys are like my boy, they will be happy with extended playing time for starters. I also liked the idea someone had about checking into a local hotel for use of the facilities even if you don't sleep over. Just hanging out in the room, rent one of those movies that aren't available yet to rent and swim, maybe get room service. It can be fun.

I wanna ride in a F16! Well, I think an F-16 only has one seat, and I don't want to fly it, so maybe an F-15 has two seats. The airport and the Air National Guard is right by our office. When the F16's go up, it sometimes sets off a few car alarms in the parking lot. LOL.

I'm going to check expedia and travelocity for tickets to Idaho to visit Tigger Fans! in her 100 Acre Woods. The sun is shining here , and the high today is 48 degrees. Hunter is driving Rob nuts. He keeps asking "when we going fishing dad? when we going fishing dad? when we going fishing dad?" I should do some housework, but I think I'll drive over to Green Lakes and go for a hike.
