OK, the rules have changed, FEDEX is different from UPS.
Neither will ship anything perishable. Fedex told me "Seeds are OK except Potato and some beets", UPS said "No Seeds whatsoever". I will figure a way to get it there even if I have to fly to London! I could use the miles...I thought there was a customs restriction that there aperently isn't anymore, so I will get it to the UK. I will send the note as well.
More on the Restrictions...Well,
Nephosaurus sent a Wonka Bar through the post office, but both Fed-Ex and UPS told me chocolate is a no-no because it is perishable, not from a customs standpoint. What I would do is to list it on the commercial invoice (yes, I will have to fill out one) as "Non-Perishable chocolate food item" if I were to send her another...
As far as stcks go...Chop Sticks, Pick-Up Sticks, Stick-Ups (the air freshener), Mickey bars are perishable, and would not make it in-tact to the UK...There are sticks you fetch, and sticks you use to start a fire. there are Swizzle sticks, etc... I ain't telling.
Hey,
Danauk, how many children are in your classes. and how old are they again?
