Tagliarchy Island Part 3

Just checking in this afternoon. Lazy day...chores, errands, the usual. Laundry, dishes, install a new thermostat, take a friend to get his car, etc...boring.

cadburysmom If I'm not on before you go, hope you have a FABULOUS time in Charleston!

geffric Heaps and gobs of PD to you and your dad!!

RRBB Doesn't it suck to be PG and sick at the same time! Yuck! Take whatever the doc allows.....and don't feel bad if you have to take the max of what he'll allow, as most OB's are pretty conservative. If he says you can have 4 doses, by all means, take all 4 if you need them! I suffer with those sinus problems year-round so I can relate. Have you thought about a cool-mist humidifier in the bedroom? It should help you sleep....but since it's cool, it might not bother OF as much as the warm one would. Just a thought!

Wish I had some stellar news to pass on re: sickness, but I was so sick during my pregnancies (8.5 months of vomiting) that they finally put me on anti-nausea drugs that are normally used by chemo patients. I was known to have a mood-swing / change of mind / demand / seemingly random request nearly every day! My DH, saint that he is, never said word one :) He could tell I was miserable and was doing/acting the best I could under those circumstances.

ohanafamily I know the constant moods and changing of minds and stuff can be hard to deal with, but just remember she's not doing it out of meanness. She really does feel like crap....her body's not yet used to growing another little life inside it, and it's really hard on a person! Add on top of that the fact that she can take so few things to help, and she feels like she's stuck being miserable. Bear with, do what you can to make her feel better, and adjust. This, too, shall pass. Eventually. She can't be pregnant forever, right?

Ok, I'm completely jealous of those going on cruises or to WDW. Wherever you are on the 4th, raise your glass and toast to me....I'll probably be sitting here on the DIS :(

Thanks for the advise kadaten. I'll have to see about getting one of those humidifiers. At the moment all I'll I have to do though is walk outside. STORMS.

Truly ohanafamily is being a saint. He lets me rant and rave whenever I want without getting upset or even saying a word. He's really trying to be supportive, he just doesn't know - hasn't figured out how to read my mind - when I need a hug or when I need him to leave me alone. (But he sure finds out quickly if he tries the wrong thing.) He's taking it all without a peep. So please, when he comes here to relate what's happening with this constantly mood changing,

sick,
pg.gif
pregnant woman, give him a break. He means no harm to me. Besides, I think he's afraid of all women now. He's been given so much grief about not relaying what's going on that he's not taking that chance anymore.
lol.gif
Poor guy, he just can't seem to get it right these days.

My idea: he needs to start a "Pregnant DIS Fathers" thread where all clueless men of that genre can all congregate and commiserate together...

we luv him here, in spite of his <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/10/10_5_134.gif' alt='Ouch' border=0></a> now and again, but he'll get more sympathy there from boys in the same <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/29/29_4_24.gif' alt='Sailboat' border=0></a>.

What do you think, OhanathePoorguy?

Aah, we'll teach him yet. He's just early in his husband training. He'll learn.;)

It's better that we set him straight than to have him keep making dumb mistakes over and over because, clearly dear, you are a saint. Look how sweet you're being after your awful night. Those of us who have been pregnant a time or two (or three) have already broken in our husband's to know what's right and wrong during pregnancy. So just think how great he'll be at this by the time the product is finished with all of us "helping" him learn! It's kinda like he's got a whole buncha wives yelling at him all at once. He's bound to turn out great!::yes::

Time for me to hop on outta here now. Taking DH, DH's dad and DHB's DH out for dinner tonight.

But first - everybody look at the new timer I just added <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/5/5_1_116.gif' border=0></a>

Either that or he'll run away from me screaming, never to be seen again...

Cool timer, darlin'.... let me know if I can help with PS's... my record with Cindy's is superb.

Have a good dinner. We are going to the Columbus Zoo's fundraiser, Zoofari... $100 per ticket and Ed's company paid! woo hoo... free food, drink, music and party time! We do have to be at the high school, however, calm and collected, to pick up Kelley who will be arriving by bus at midnight from camp by BBarb in NY. Must behave, must behave...

Welcome back bloomie43! Stay out of trouble!!! Lexington is boring for a 32 year old. DSIL lives in Louisville. I think she lives between Louisville & Shelbyville. Did you go to Thunder over Louisville this year? Do they still have the St. James Art Fair? It is pretty neat. I went to that with some friends of mine from Louisville my Freshman year at UK, 1989!!!!

i cant seem to stay out of trouble no matter howw hard i try!!!!

my sister used to live in lexington when she went to uk, but she moved back here:teeth cause she graduated:

ive only been to thunder once, and that was like, 4 years ago!!!:p :p

my mom and my sisters went to some kind of art show this year, but i dont know what it was!!! lol

Wow! Page 4... where is everybody...

WOW, I've just spent hours reading a FABULOUS trip report! Not even finished with it yet 'cause computer acted up and I just had to reboot. I'll post the link here as soon as I find it again (Was done at the beginning of the year).

I just want to say.....if I should win the lottery between now and October......we will all be having one fantabulous, one of a kind, special events dinner. AND additional taglikins will be joining us. ::yes::

OK, back to hunting it down and finishing it!
