Hi everyone, I think I need to post the latest RRBB update...

Last night ohanafamily went to bed a little early (around 9:30) well at 11:00, RRBB storms in..."I Can't breathe and it is freezing in here. " She used the most gentle tone that she has ever used.... Well, an hour later she got up from bed, and screamed (still in the gentle tone) "I CAN'T BREATHE" and she went out of the room. a little while later we heard a sobbing sound. ohanafamily dutifully went into the other room to check on his wife. I Heard the following side of the conversation. "DON'T TOUCH THAT THERMOSTAT," "I CAN'T BREATHE!" "WHY IS IMPORTANT FOR YOU TO FREEZE ME OUT!" (it was 74 in the bedroom) "IT IS SO DRY IN HERE I WILL NEVER GET BETTER". This is the point I decided it was worth catching the cold to hug her. I went in there and gave her a big hug. She laid there awake for another hour, took me into the bedroom, and (how can I put this) launched me at poor just awoken ohanafamily, She went back in the other room amidst a bunch of words stating how bad she felt, and that it was freezing (now 74 in the bedroom). About a half hour later she came in the room feeling much better; she used the Affrin. She is trying not to use it a lot because it is highly addictive, and she has been using it for a few days now. (1 squirt, 1 time or 2 times a day)

I hope she gets over this cold soon!!! Please, does anybody know a good PG cure for a cold????

Um I don't even know what you mean by "PG", that's a movie rating?

What I do know is that if my DW or "auntie" was a regular on these boards I sure as hell wouldn't come in here posting about her in this way. That would be one sure way of pissing her off even more. Also, whoever is pregant is in full control of the climate in the house. Always. In time the temperature will be dropping as she starts really baking that bun. And you will feel the chill even sooner if you keep this act up.

My advice to you is stop being an ***.

QOTD from yesterday: Where will I be on July 4th?

I'll be on a Princess cruise with some college buddies celebrating (or mourning) our 40th(dirty word) birthdays! And just to clear things up, I said Princess Cruise Line, NOT Pampered Princess Cruise Line

Usually we attend our pool's 4th of July party. There are the regular pool games for the kids and then all the moms line up around the pool and the manager throws in several cases of canned beer (separated of course). They blow a whistle and we all jump in and whoever comes out with the most cans wins a prize. It used to be just for dads but we (moms) revolted a few years back and jumped in too. The guys were so shocked that we were actually fighting them for the beer that they just relented and gave them to us I guess it sounds stupid but trust me, it's much harder than you think...beer cans get heavy in the water. It has become a big social thing and if you're too to jump in and get the beer, well, you kinda get looked down upon....plus it's great fun and best of all, you get free beer!

RRBB, I hope you feel better soon. There is nothing worse than being sick while pregnant. Especially early in the pregnancy when your body is going through so much anyhow. Hang in there & take care of yourself. You are carrying the most precious thing in the world & you need to do whatever you need to in order to feel comfortable.

morning.. don't have time to catch up on all the post.. rushing of to the hospital..

They took the NG tube out last night but , my Dad is still in pain and they put it back in this am. They are waiting for his cretin (sp) level to go down so they can do a catscan to see if there is a hole in the bowel.. maybe cause by the surgery.. so we don't know anything but he is feeling a bit better. but still in lots of pain..

I have the 10 - 1 shift, then later in the day.. i need to help the boys get ready for camp.

The Cat is having fun at her vacation at our house the boys wore her out yestrday with all the playing..

QOTD what are we doing on July 4th.. we will be checking out of AKL and into BCV, swimming at SAB, a little Epcot and then off to Dinner at Chef Mickeys and watch Wishes from the Contempary.. then since MK is open until 11 or 12 or so.. we will go to MK and do the Mountains..

Hehehehe but you will be going on a cruise, so you will be pampered on a princess cruise, so really you will be a pampered princess cruiser This princess has never been on a cruise because her mean mommy and daddy won't take me on one But I shouldn't complain, at least the finally took me to WDW after 13 years my poor brother still hasn't been...and he's 19 We got to go on all those national park vacations, don't get me wrong I loved them, but I still woulda rather gone to WDW when I was younger....but hey, I'm still a big kid and I still got my picture taken with Chef Mickey Hey did I every show you the picture of me in my halloween costume being a princes...I looked like (I had the cute pink hat even!!)

oh and one more thing..RRBB Hope you feel better some... being sick while pg is difficult beause of the changes and it sort of magnifies the symptoms.. but they are VERY REAL>>>

aside to OF.. for the next 9 months/ or years - RRBB is right about everything and your job is to cater to her every whim etc..

I agree OF. Be a good hubby and don't get RRBB angry. Poor baby is sick and just needs either to be left alone or lots of hugging-her choice, Just follow suit and you'll do fine. You are a great dh and all will be fine. Just let her get well and you all will be happy campers.

Doing nothing on the 4th. We are officially moved out of this house on the 5th so I guess I'll be moving all day. At night will do firwords with the kids.

geffric So sorry about your dad and hope he is more comfortable soon. You poor thing You have had it so rough lately...dealing with your mom's death and now your father's illness. I wish I could be there with you and am sending tons of PD your way....

Deadheadbelle I'm driving to Goldsboro(1 hr away) tomorrow to see my dad for Father's Day and then driving down to Charleston(4 1/2 hrs away) tomorrow night......I'm a little worried about driving so late but I want to get on down there

Anybody else have big plans to spend the day with their fathers?

But sweetie, you don't LOOK 40, YOU have a tiny belly and nice hair ....you have to be 40 and actually LOOK 40 (wrinkles and all) in order to take the cruise .......gain a little weight, get a bad hairdo and then maybe I'll reconsider
