I talked to my MIL and my 4 year old niece. My niece gave me lots of kisses on the phone--after I asked her if she knew who was talking to her. I don't get to talk to her a lot unless she is hanging out with her Grandma.

We might have a long beach weekend next month with my in-laws to celebrate their 44th anniversary.

I better check out Tropical Storm Alex---I was hoping my lawn guy can come and do our yard tomorrow---the grass grew a lot in the past 2 weeks. Two or 3 more months of having our yard done for this year.

I would love to afford to have my yard done by a professional but my 13 year old needs opportunities to make $$. So he is the yard guy!!..

Oh well""" I would cook and make dinner!! The house is empty without the boys but good thing is that I have my Dad's cat so i am not all alone.. first time all alone in 13 years...

We pay him $30 each time. He also kills our weeds and seeds it some. We don't have the storage for a riding lawn mower or even a regular mower and other equipment yet. Maybe next year we will do our yard.

I am tempted to check Chicago---NC Beast was there for almost a month years ago on TTY.

Sometime the lawn guy has his 13 year old to help out. It is worth it because with this guy's tools---our 1/2 acre is done in about 45 minutes plus the little extras. NC Beast needs to sleep during the daytime and his days off---well-its worth it.

Good morning everyone, I thought I would drop in quickly to leave some breakfast before I start another day of building (yesterday our best friends came round to help and we got part of the roof on, we just need to finish the other part today!!)
