Evening all ;)

CANNONBALL!!! Hope I didn't get you wet ;) Bartender (any of them will do...DH is out of town so a lonely girl is not picky!), I'll have whatever the lady on the floor is having :teeth:

Weren't there some QOTD:

Avatar: That's my current antennae ball. I use that one because I love Mickey and as a military wife am pretty patriotic :)

Christmas traditions: Oh my....LOTS of them...
--must bake and decorate Christmas cookies every year, with my mom if she comes, without her if she doesn't; give them for gifts, eat them ourselves, leave some for Santa, but we MUST have cookies....last year we were traveling and didn't do any :( Year before that, we had 12 different varieties :) I love to bake ;)

--we have lots of ornaments from childhood on up....while we take them out to decorate the tree we reminisce about where/why we got each one

--each child has their own mini-tree in his/her room with their ornaments on it....and some are on the big tree, too...

--stockings are a big deal in our house...almost just as aniticipated as the presents :) DH made all of ours....beautiful cross-stitched ones!! All four :)

--we open presents whenever everyone is there...Christmas Eve, Day, whatever....family are sometimes with us until the day before so we open when they're here.....with the amount the kids have been getting from the grandparents it usually takes 3 days to get through them all anyway  I'm putting my foot down this year....half of what's spent on them must go in their college account!! They have WAY too many toys, junk, etc....

--we always watch all the favorites....Charlie Brown Christmas, It's a Wonderful Life, Rudolph, The Grinch, etc....

--Christmas carols are wafting through the house....

--growing up we went to Christmas Eve mass....the early one as that's when the children't choir sang....but haven't been attending church regularly in awhile, but this will probably be back in our traditions soon....

I just love the holidays....we're already planning for this year's as we're having both families up...it's our last year in this house so we're going to do it up right ::yes::

Whatever! I'm easy....to get along with :teeth: Will even take the floor :) Or can put in 3 and get the trundle bed....especially if rates come out and make it cheaper! Last year the mods were either $84 or $89....so $94 or $99 with tax....so adding the $10 adult charge would still be less than we've got right now... But I can do either....like I said....easy....to get along with!!

Hope you sleep curled up, or you're a tiny little thing. Those trundle beds are 54" long! You'll look like that dude in One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish whose head sticks out of the bed... be sure and take a picture for us!

sorry - double post ... must be getting past my bedtime... or else I have quicky fingers...

OH, in case I am not back later...

RICKWHOHASTHEBIGDAYTOMORROW - Enjoy your interview tomorrow! Bask in the glory of your success! How could they resist your charms???

Anybody out there?

First Cmom and now you. Look girls, it's wonderful that you are blonde and everything, but do you have to point out to us that you're a "little blonde"?<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/23/23_29_127.gif' border=0></a> Seen the pictures, love the hair, great legs. Now go get something to eat!

I'm going to read some books to the Ella bug in the hopes of getting her to wind down. With our hectic schedule lately she's been up until 11:00 every night. I'm hoping to get her in by 10:30 tonight.

<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/23/23_28_109.gif' border=0></a> lleberkniT!

Why, <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/23/23_3_10.gif' border=0></a> llebrekniT!

Have fun on your cruise Laura. I've heard Alaskan cruises are wonderful and want to take one sometime myself. ::yes::

:wave2: I've returned

llebrekniT, when I come and live with you, I'll read to Ella and you can DIS when you want :teeth: and then we can switch and I can post entire posts consisting of nothing but smilies!!! What a great plan, I'm so smart!

Omph I ate too mutch ice cream :(

TalkBear I'll be back to deal with you in a minute.

I just ran in here real quick to see if iluvtink was in because I just saw on the news about the terrorist that was going to blow up a shopping mall in Columbus! This stuff freaks me out guys...

iluvtink are you out there? Have you seen this on the new?

I'll be right back. Since Carebear isn't living here yet, I need to finish Ella off.

OK, TalkisCheap, I do not know the limits for avatars, but if it is too big you can't upload it. I asked for you on the Tech Support board, and I will post any answer I get...

iluvtink, I think it was you having a problem with that Smiley place... I tried to load the image and it said it wasn't there. I went to the site and tried several images and they worked fine. It might have been a typo... Sorry.

As for me, I am going to brush my teeth, put a new bottle of water on the water cooler, grab my Vacuum Cleaner & boom box, and head upstairs where it is cool.

Has anyone seen Nephosaurus? he likes swimming with "His Girls"

Oh, and oddball27' mom, I am sure she would be proud of you. I guess she gets embarrassed by us.....
;)

Dan Murphy said it best... Is she bored yet?

:bounce:

Yep llebrekniT - I saw it. I am wondering which mall it is ... the one my daughter goes to occasionally that is 5 minutes from my house where she wants to get a job when she's 16??????? Or the one built by Lex Wexner (can you say millionaire - The Limited, etc.) that is the epitome of a high end outdoor strolling mall? It makes my blood run cold that they want to target a middle-America town. I think Columbus was listed somewhere as about as typical a town as you can get.

I'll be getting off in a bit when DH gets home with groceries... he's going to the US Open on Wed. night through Fri. night so I can come to longer pool parties then. It will be just Katie, me and the boy dogs, since Kelley's in NY too.

I'd have to agree with the Beast that it's weird. But speaking as one that's "preggers", I'd have to say YUCK and double YUCK!!!
