Hi all,

[COLOR=FF0033]cadburysmom[/COLOR], one of my counselors was the Blue Devil (Duke Mascot) during the school year.

Captain Don was second in command when I left, Wyatt Taylor started the camp and was running it when I went there many years ago.... If Don Weeks (I think that was his last name) is still running the place, he must be getting up in age.... The camp was really fun, but they kept calling me immature...

Oh Well....

[COLOR=9900CC]oddball27[/COLOR], RRBB thinks the whole island may come apart if you are not here, but we will manage. Great job showing princesstommi where it is. Do you think we should invite her to choose a color?

Oh well, best get back to work.....

Maybe you should! You never know who you are going to bump into. I've had two celebrities run-ins this week alone! Gotta keep your eyes open Oddball27! You never know who's standing right next to you in a bookstore. It could be Jude Law. (hey, that kinda rhymed, didn't it! Hahaha.

Hello everyone. I haven't read any posts today, so I'm way behind. Hope everyone is happy and healthy.

BUT I did receive a package in the mail today. Me and the boys stood around the package--afraid to open it. We heard a rumour that it was going to scare us ****less. We fought for a while who was going to be brave and open it. I was elected. I ripped it open, and a big hairy thing stared me right in the eye! It was...it was...it was...a BIG hairy rhinocerus (sp?)!

Thank you Robin and David. You guys are so sweet and generous. He's sitting on our breakfast island right now so that everyone can enjoy him. Hmmmm. I have to name him. Maybe I'll have to carry him around in a lime green Vera Bradley backpack in October. Bwhaaaaa!

P.S. The Wonka bar looks a little hung over from the trip, but luckily I have no problem with eating drunken Wonka bars.

This is the first full day of no school. They had field day on MOnday and watch movie day on Tuesday, then yesterday was a 1/2 day.. they got out at 11:00 am... so i worked from home.. I am home office this rest of this week too 'cause there isn't a day camp for them for just 2 and 1/2 days..

It's rainy and cool here so they have been nonstop game cube..

hello all! if any of you were thinking of watching the MTV movie awards.....Johnny Depp won for best male performance...i knew this last week but i forgot to post it! Plus, he isn't going...i saw the taped acceptance speech....so no bother watching, i mean if He can't be there, right?

Oh my god, I feel so special! It's me birthday today and I got a bday card on the dis. Isn't that so cool! I'll really celebrate tomorrow because hubby had to work tonight. I hope I can stay on and chat for awhile but I could be called away at any moment. I have to deliver a car tonight and keep an eye on our kitty midday. He's developed an infection (which I'm pretty sure comes from lack of proper care on our part). I feel like such a heel for not taking care of them better. I will never again get so involved in 6th grade activities! Some of the parents act worse than their children. Geesh! I'd have to break down the last month in installments... it's more like a soap opera than real life. Ugh!
Anywho, I bet I missed a bunch of stuff... any important life changes happen? Anything new?

Well TAGLIARCHY...

I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaaack...

I'm sure I was missed immensely. I'm pooped after a 9 hour drive from wonderful Walt Disney World, to not as wonderful Hickory, NC. DF is quite upset that she must return to work the day after tomorrow. At least I'm off the rest of the summer.

We tried to find joy in our last night at the hotel room by picking out the time for our next trip, and it looks like early November would be the most 'doable' for it. With every countdown's end, another one begins, huh?

POFQ was beautiful, and so compact and convenient at the same time. We had requested the ground floor in building 4, and received exactly that. Walking times were as follows:

1. Food Court - 35 seconds
2. Gift Shop - 1 minute
3. Spa / Laundry - 55 seconds
4. Pool - 1 minute
5. Rivercruise - 1 min and 25 seconds
6. Parking Lot - 45 seconds
7. Bus Stop - 35 seconds

   Can't get much better than that. We had some rain every day, but not enough to ruin our time. It seemed like it would start raining every day in the afternoon, and evening, but all the mornings and early part of the day were clear. A little hot at times, but for the most part, not unbearable. The rain helped in cooling it down a little bit.
   
   We saw all the major shows, DF and I liked Fantasmic the best. She was even asking if we could go see it tonight on the car ride home, but I regretted to inform her that we have to wait till November, now. Oh well.
   
   One late afternoon, we took on the Fairways course at Fantasia Gardens Mini-golf. Heck of a deal with the AP discount (BOGO). I don't suggest anyone do this course unless you are either A. a golf pro, or B. not easily frustrated. Golf balls were rolling all over the place. When we got to the 15th hole, it started thundering and they suspended play. They gave us a rain check, good for life, so we not only get the AP discount, but another 2 for 1 deal, as well. Pretty sweet, huh?
   
   We tried to tour all the hotels, but missed a few. DF fell in love with the Beach Club when we ate dinner there, but it seems a bit pricey. We'll have to see how those AP discounts knock it down in November. Wilderness Lodge is still my favorite. I also rented a boat while I was there, and enjoyed jumping the wakes of larger ferry boats.
   
   We took lots of photos, and I'll try to get them posted sometime soon. Just trying to relax now...and begin planning our next trip, that is.

I went to a restaraunt RRBB doesn't like tonight, and ran into the regional manager (who I know from when he used to manage the place near me...) I am betting the hang of using the added features of my Cell Phone; I mailed her a picture of the manager and told her that he said HI!
