Forgot to say...mom's hair turned out great! She'd needed that for awhile. She was so late because they went shopping on the way home and neglected to call....I just thought she got lost 'cause she has all the direction of a busted compass that's been rolled over by a tank!

Heading off to bed, but leaving breakfast for the early risers...Enjoy!!

--chocolate pancakes with Hershey's syrup and caramel sauce
--chocolate covered strawberries
--breakfast lasagna
--fresh fruit selections
--stuffed french toast
--selection of breakfast meats...sausage, bacon, ham
--OJ, coffee, tea
--Mimosas for those who need a fizzy start to the day

As usual, no carb, no fat, no cal, no guilt

Ok guys, gotta go. I hate busy days. So much to do. I am in charge of a senior reception for about 20-30 seniors on Sunday, having 10 people over to dinner of Saturday night and going to Sam's huge award ceremony in DC right after the reception on Sunday. UGH plus Tom has a 4 game tournament this weekend.

Morning all....thanks for that wonderful breakfast kadaten. I am stuffing myself with the lasgna and the strawberries...

Had a really busy day at work yesterday.. today I am working from home as it is the last 1/2 day of school for the kids. Geoff get out of school at 10:30 and Eric gets out at 11:30..Since I don't want them home alone.. I am working home office today..

Went to a focus group survey last night from AA. I got 10,000 miles for my participantion . YEAH!! Now if Disney would only call me and ask me to do a group and give me Disney Dollars I would be all set.. Wishful thinking..

Anyway I have news!!! I am switching jobs.. staying at the same company but changing divisions that I work for and territory..I am now going to work for the group that actually pays their people their commission instead of the idiotsin the divison that i work for. I will make the change at the end of the qtr.. This means that i will actually have a vacation where I do not need to check email and vmail for work during my trip!!!


However, I am not sure what will happen to my 800 conference call #.. so let me know if you want to do a TAGLIARCHY chat. i will pm you all the 800 number and we will set up a time. Everyone calls the 800# and we can chat..

Cmom I don't know about cloning you. All those tiny bellies and gorgeous hair running around. It would be too much for the rest of us. End of the year is a pain. So much work, so many trips to school. I'm quite sure that's where Ella picked up her illness.

She slept all night, only moaned in her sleep a couple times. She's still asleep now. Thanks again for worrying about her guys. Hopefully today will be a little better than yesterday.

geffric, just curious, are you ever going to get the back pay that they owe you? or are they counting on you forgetting... Esp since you are changing groups. It might be prudent to submit this question to HR, so that you are on record as to asking for it before your transfer.....

ohanafamily yes , the new manager and I met yesterday and we discussed the issue.. it turns out that it was the current/soon to be old manager that did not stand up for his people and so he couldn't get approval from the VP for the comp plans.. apparently it was not high on his priority list.. and whenever, we brought it up we were accused of whining..( and i never whine,, but I do wine)...

anyway the new mgr is going to make sure that i get the comp. taken care of.. It is a bit scarey to be in a new territory with new products that i don't know anything about, and these are much more technical than i am used to.. but it will be fun learning them .BTW I will now handle the SE as a territoy...

I wanted to stay at the same company because I will get 4 weeks vacation in a year's time... and that is very important to me..Plus DH wasn't keen on my changing companies .. he is very risk adverse..
So yes i am still at the Tower.. but will be on the 11th floor instead of the 10th..

I need to vent a little so I hope you don't mind. Do you ever feel really stupid. Not only did I bounce two checks, but I made another mistake at work. I feel like such an idiot. I don't seem to be able to do anything right, and I haven't won the lottery so I still have to work and now I feel like I'll never get anything right. I couldn't believe I screwed up the checkbook so much. And I love to worry about money, Lord if we thought we were broke before.

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

OK feel better but pleaseeeeeeeeee pass chocolate, better yet I want to be at Beaches and Cream and jump into a kitchen sink!

Thanks guys, I didn't want to whine to my mom as she is taking me out for my birthday Sunday.

Actually, My accountant was led astray by one of my advisor's, and now instead of a really huge tax refund, I have to give over $2000 of it back. Not Happy... It seemed like they thought some of my insurance was grandfathered into what I had to pay, but evidently it wasn't. Yuk... I hate having to give more money too the IRS...

I was born in south Louisiana with a shrimp hanging out of my mouth, so if you can take garbage and shrimp and make it good, I'm ready to try it! Same with the okra (weed) and beef! I'll bring you some fudge brownie pie when you have me for dinner.

ohanafamily - Glad Robin is coming home soon. Is she leaving again (out of town) for the scrapbooking thingie or will she be home at night?

RE: Dead fish handshakes... my French professor in college taught us how to shake hands properly, and then graded us on our handshakes. Perhaps French folks poo-poo dead fish? He said you're supposed to aim the fat squishy part of your hand between your thumb and forefinger into the other person's fat squishy part (Susie - No No No, don't go there!) and then squeeze firmly.

HELLO TAGLIARCHY did you all hear this? I wanna do it....anyone else? I know there were no takers when I mentioned a live DIS chat....whadda ya think about this? We have a three hour time zone difference to coordinate.....but I'd race home from work a little early to be able to talk to eastern time zone pals after they've put the kiddies to bed. Come on.......wadday ya say? geffric do you physically have to be in your office building for this....we'll have to consider that when trying to coordinate a time.

I'm finding my stupid moments seem to be happening more frequently as I move through my 50's! I keep telling myself it has nothing to do with age....it's just the over stimulation of living in our society these days Too much information bomarding us constantly. And speaking of that, I'd better get ready to go to work for one of the largest information distribution companies on the planet!!
