Hey everyone. It hit 50 yesterday FINALLY. The next few days it will rain a lot and be in the 40's again. Flood warnings in some areas. Snow is melting but everything is brown. It will be good to see green again.

As for the meeting--I saw the principal, but the other teacher got "sick" and had to go home. Imagine that.

Apparently I'm not the concern. She is. . .It's a shame--she's real good with the kids, but she can't do her paperwork.

I totally missed the coupon online and didn't read this until after I got back. But good news - when I got to the register they gave me a scratch off ticket and it was for 15% off. Way cool! I didn't find everything I was looking for so I'm going to the other two stores this weekend. I'll look for the online coupon before I go so thanks a bunch!

Still depressing around here. Another 100 employee mill shutting down. Where are all these unemployed people going to get jobs?

It's April. That means only 2 1/2 more months and my daughter graduates from High School.

I hate to hear about the mill. The county where I teach has a 22% unemployment rate. Let me repeat: 22%. Almost one quarter of all people are without jobs. I thought about that at the gym today. With that logic, out of the 10 people who were there, 2 of them statistically are out of work.

Props to you about your daughter graduating soon. You are handling better than I am going to. . .

That is a HIGH unemployment rate for that county! Maine's unemployment rate is higher than the national average.

We will see how I handle things at graduation. I will try to keep myself together. Maybe I will be fine. My daugter already instructed me not to one of 'those mothers' that cry at graduation. I can't promise anything. All I can do is try.

You are sure up and raring to go early on a Saturday. Since I'm working tomorrow, we have to get all our weekend errands done today. But so far, we're just lazing around in bed taking our time planning it out.

I was hoping to stay in bed longer. My daughter spent the night at a friends house and came home at 8am. The dogs were barking and when she went to bed, they started whining. I was up with them at 7am to let them out to pee then went back to bed hoping to fall asleep again. Why did I bother? I'm guessing my daughter stayed up till wee hours of the morning and needs more sleep before work at 2pm. Hope you enjoy your work tomorrow.
