Ok, the killer here is that my family used to live in NC. We visited there 2-3 times a year. We MOVED there for 8 months....

...and came back north.

This time when I leave, I'm never looking back...

For some reason, I think you'll have a hard time leaving your dad's next week. Today is the coldest day we've had, the high is 58, the low 44. You'll be running around in shorts and a tank top in this. While I'm bundled up like the little boy in the Christmas Story.

Legomom, I thought of you today as I was leaving the store in our wind chill of 20 degrees and wondered, "What would 20 below feel like?" I started feeling colder and just said a little prayer that you and SadieDog were feeling a bit of warmth whatever you two were doing today.

I just noticed that on another thread!...I went to insert the face with the little hearts around it, and it wasn't there! I do like it when they mix them up once in a while, though...keeps it interesting and makes you notice some you wouldn't otherwise.

LegoMom, mine registered 24 below this morning too. I'm so chilled right now it's getting depressing. Want to hear somthing funny? My brother called last night and tried to get me to walk the dogs to his house. I told him I was too lazy to get bundled up and walk down there. I certainly didn't feel like walking in below zero temps even though he lives close. Next thing I know, he comes walking in my house with his old dog. I guess the cold wasn't keeping him from walking.

We're heading to my in-law's shortly to drop off the boys. DH and I are getting tonight and tomorrow to ourselves! We're going out to dinner tonight and were going to head to Vermont tomorrow but it's going to snow so that's right out.

So what did ya make for din-din?!

I have not done anything interesting today. Just boring house stuff. My husband, son, brother and I are heading to my cousin's in about an hour. It will be so nice to get out for a change.

Snow storm coming tomorrow.

Oh man. I hate it when that happens. There is nothing like a good juicy burger especially when you are craving one.

DH and I have his mom's Subaru so we're going to go out for breakfast in a little while. We're waiting for our town to decide to get around to making that first pass with the plow. I hate when it snows on Sunday because they assume nobody has anywhere to go....

Yeah, I guess 7 really isn't that warm.

I have a Subaru. My daughter took it last night to spend the night at a friends house. Now she needs to drive home in the snow. I didn't realize the snow was starting so soon. I won't feel comfortable until she is home.
