I'm trying to save as money as possible b/c if I HAVE to end up spending that much money on the skirts then maybe I won't go over budget.
One of the houses were we meant to look at today has been sold, so that's off the radar. It's too bad, it was a very cute split level.
The other requires 24 hour notice, so we'll actually be going tomorrow. I'll let you guys know what we think.

I went to oriental trading and I found them for 12 for 30 dollars but then dh said that if I did that I could only get 12. now how are we going to be able to invite that many people and only have 12 skirts?
I don't know what to do I have looked at dollar tree but so far they don't have them. does anyone know if they sell them there or have they in the past?
However I did get 8 paper lanterns for 6.50 today
so how is everyone today? I hope good
If they are going to swim I don't know that I would even buy them leis. You don't want them ended up in the pool filter. Use the leis for decorations. Just imagine your little guy having his very own swing set in his very own backyard. It will come.

Aren't you having a pool party? If so then they don't need grass skirts for themselves. Just get the grass table skirts for the tables.
I doubt they will swim that much but i would like to get some. i did find some on ebay for 24 dollars for 24 thats good deal

TarzansKat, good luck with the house search. Buying a house is a scary step but worth it. Look at as many as you can and I know it was already said but don't forget the inspection. Very glad to hear your husband can do work around the house. That will be very helpful. How EXCITING!

The sun is out here! We're not supposed to get much, if anything at all, from today's "storm." But tomorrow we're on a watch for a major storm.... Just when the kids are headed back to school after a week off!
I don't think I can begin to express the giddyness I'm experiencing in knowing I am now in the final 30 days of having to live with this weather....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it snowed all day yesterday BBRRRRRRR..... I was so sad I want spring to come already! I hate the cold always have. dh and I talked about it and we have been thinking about moving somewhere warmer when then kids get out of school.
I wish we had the thunder storms and not the snow!
