Of course it's a good morning! The Happy Heart Farting Pooh is back.

DD2 is happy she's not going back to school today. She kept telling me last night, "You left me. I cried." Yeah. That feels good. The teacher said she didn't cry, had fun, and listened really well. But about 15 minutes before I came, she said DD2 got really quiet and started acting sad. When I got there, her little lip came out like she was about to have a good cry. But she didn't. I hope she gets over it soon since she'll be going full time.

Woo hoo! I got some good Target finds today. I found a Snow White and Aurora costume for 75% off. So $5 each! I'll bring those on the cruise and just let her use them for dress up. I also got a costume that said it was a snow bunny. It was just a white dress with white maribou fur trim. I thought that'd be such a cute holiday dress.

I also let her pick out her own backpack to take to school. I hope it gets her more excited about going. We have to pack diapers, wipes, snacks, lunch, spare clothes, blankie, and lovey item each day.

Mean Queen, Good deals. I bet your daughter will have a good time and enjoy learning. Sometimes the initial "bye" is hard for them but once the parent is gone, they get right into the swing of things. Again, Congrats on getting your job back.

Thanks! It is bittersweet. I love staying home with DD, but I really love my job. Now that she's 2 1/2, I think it's a good time for her to get used to school, being with kids her own age, and listening to other authority figures. Since I'll be working part-time, she won't be there too long. My boss and co-workers are all great and very understanding of my obligations to my family.

Thanks! It is bittersweet. I love staying home with DD, but I really love my job. Now that she's 2 1/2, I think it's a good time for her to get used to school, being with kids her own age, and listening to other authority figures. Since I'll be working part-time, she won't be there too long. My boss and co-workers are all great and very understanding of my obligations to my family.

Working part time and her getting to experience preschool sounds perfect to me. Great arrangement.

I am so excited about the cruise. It looks like I'll start work when I get back. I didn't want to start a week, take a week off, work a few more weeks, then take another week off. We're going to Hilton Head DVC for New Year's. The best part about the job is we won't have to stress about these trips. I'll be making money again.

Isn't it amazing what we will do to make our little ones happy. I was shopping this morning. And there was a woman in the store singing the Barney song (rather loudly) to keep her toddler from crying. Funny thing is...I wanted to sing along with her.

Isn't it amazing what we will do to make our little ones happy. I was shopping this morning. And there was a woman in the store singing the Barney song (rather loudly) to keep her toddler from crying. Funny thing is...I wanted to sing along with her.

Well, at least she had a kid with her.
