When do you want to go?

That would be the question, eh?

In roughly three weeks. If I can get a Saturday off from work.

Just me and my mom for a girls' trip. I was really hesitating on spending the money on it, but the more I think about it, the more I would love one last hurrah before the new baby arrives.

I'm also stressing myself out over looking at houses when in all reality, we don't really have to move. I love our apartment, and the complex we're in does offer bigger units, should that be something we desire to do.

Long story short, a little weekend away would do the TK good.

Take the weekend! (coming from one who's well-acquainted with needing a mental break!!;)). I was actually just into my 2nd trimester with DS13 when DH and I first went to WDW together. It was fantastic! Although he turned out to be quite a dare-devil and my MIL blames the fact that I rode Tower of Terror while expecting him!....:rotfl:

Thank you. I know your advice comes from a good place, and that you're not just enabling me....

or are you??? ;)

I actually went while I was pregnant with DS. My mom was in Disney when she was pregnant with me. We like to start em real young.

I was about halfway through my second trimester with DS, with this kiddo, I'd be right at the beginning.

How are you today LegoMom?

TK, grab the trip and run while you can. :goodvibes

Hi Smileybug! Doing ok today, thanks.:goodvibes How are you? Have you un-decorated your house yet?!

.

TK, advice from the other side (meaning a grandma older than dirt :rotfl:), do take the break!! It will be so nice and then you can go home and really begin nesting and all that good pre-baby stuff. So much fun! :goodvibes

(Of course, this comes from one who has been doing some pricing on the Disney herself. Disney is good, it's the darn airfare. :sad2:)

Good Morning!!! :goodvibes

I'm working on Christmas decorations today too...hopefully) :upsidedow

That makes me feel better. :thumbsup2
Some things I'm just modifing. Like the garland and candles on my mantle, and the wreath above the fireplace. I pulled the more Christmassy things out of it. Now that area just has more of a winter look about it. That way we can enjoy it a little while longer. I really like being able to still have the lights on at night. :goodvibes Most of the decorations I am ready to take down.

This is exactly how I feel! I live with DD, Dsil and DGBaby, so the rest of the house is not mine to decorate -although I help and take down - but in my room will leave the lights for awhile, winter candles, even a couple of snow people. A winter basket etc...it's still so nice. ::yes::

Taking down Christmas decorations makes me sad! Once they are down, it means Christmas is really over. I'm in denial. :rotfl:

I want a DGBaby. But my kids won't cooperate. :rotfl:

I'm dealing with a bit of the after Christmas blues this year myself. And I don't like it. :goodvibes

I'm watching Signs. That should scare the Christman blues right out of me. :rotfl:
