You know I'd be there for a Dis meet. You guys find a time that's good for you and I'll hop on over. I'm always looking for a reason to plan another trip. I'm still trying to decide if I want to drive up for a quick trip tomorrow or head to the mall to spend my gift cards and let the kids do BABW and get their pictures done.

Hey, I may have asked you this before, but what have you found to be the best deal on an AP? I've been looking at them through AAA and it would cost right around $1,000 for the five of us; there are black-out dates but during times I wouldn't necessarily want to go anyway (as in "peak crowds" ).

We get the Fl. Resident Annual passes, with no black out dates. My older DD's birthday is in the summer and my younger one is near Spring Break and we like to go for special days, so we get the one with no blackout days. Plus, we get free parking (though we usually stay on site, so we don't always need the free parking.) I haven't used AAA so I don't know if they have cheaper dates on the seasonal passes (the ones with blackouts.) We figure the cost is so worth it for us when you look at how often we go. Besides, it's still cheaper than if we bought season tickets to the Tampa Bay Bucs or the Devil Rays and Disney lasts all year (unlike the sports.)

Hey evryone!! Hope you are all having a wonderful day. It is so beautiful here. Hubby took me to Home Depot and he helped me "borrow" a few LGMHPC's. I am so glad they still have them.

Mean Queen...I have a question for you. Since you go to Disney so often would it be better for ya'll to buy into the DVC? I was just curious. We have been checking into buying into the WL villa's. Had the info sent. That was just before we decided to build our house. So for now things are on hold as far as purchasing a DVC. We like the idea of the DVC. But not completely sold on it so we always like to hear opinions about it.

Now I'm headed straight home to check my bank balance on-line and freaking out the whole way (and of course I get stuck behind every slow person on the road today!!!!). Get home. Log in. Phew!...I don't have a negative balance. Must just be the store (DH confirms he's had problems with their CC machine before). Wait a second, what's that charge for over $250??? Certainly I'd remember something that large, and I don't! Is there even anyone at the customer service number on a Saturday? Oh cool!...turns out they are there 7 days a week!

Charge is still pending, can the gal on the other end of the phone even determine its source?

YES SHE CAN AND IT'S A FRAUD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's also the SECOND fraudulant charge - there was a first attempt for one in the amount of $1,600 that they denied because it WAY exceeded our balance. But, the smaller one did not so it was put through ("pending" for now; if the merchant realizes it's a fraud before it goes through, they will deny it also). Monday morning I'm going to the local bank branch and filling out the Dispute Form and having that faxed to the appropriate office, and that will reverse the $250 charge if it does go through.

I use my card ALL the time so really, it was only a matter of time before something like this happened, but you never want it to! Fortunately we caught it before it turned into a total disaster (I have a mortgage payment to mail this week!!!). So, my card is cancelled and a new one on it's way, but I've just spent considerable time on the computer logging into all the accounts that I pay on-line automatically to make sure they use a bank draft and not my card number.... WHAT a headache. The bank lady who took care of all this was SO nice, she must deal with panicky people all the time. The charges were for some comany in Hungary!...Um, nope!...never heard of them! I was sure it was probably hacked off the computer somewhere but she said you'd be surprised where these jerks can obtain a number. Scary.

I feel like now I ought to go look over my credit reports. It's been over a year since I last requested them so I'm due for my once-a-year freebie.

People, keep a close eye on your personal info!!

I am so sorry that you had to deal with this. We have had to deal with this sort of thing in the past. Except they attempted to buy a HOUSE!! That is how it was found out. They had already purchased a cell phone. We had to file police reports and everything. It was very scary. Everyone should check their credit report. We check ours about every 3 months. We also make sure we shread everything with our name on it. That includes labels on medicine bottles. I'm glad everything seems to be working out for you.

sorry to hear you had the problem i faced a few months ago. It is a pain but thankfully my bank was quick and easy to settle it.
