Actually, I think I'm only harmless when provoked. I am Mean Queen for a reason. Of course, that reason is because that's what my DD used to call all the Disney villain queens rather than me actually being mean. But with that name, I do have an image to keep up.

It's a great day here in NH because we are finally putting a plan in motion to get out and we will be moving to Florida!!!

So, how is everyone else today?? I've been up for a while, went to Dunkin Donuts for coffee with my dad. My son leaves for camp today so I need to go help him get his stuff packed. I'll try to hop on again tonight and see how everyone is doing!

I'm always planning my next trip to WDW. I have 4 left this year alone. Yep, I'm bragging and I know it's not nice. Hey, at least I didn't let out any Harry Potter spoilers.

Where in Florida are you moving? Make sure to get your annual passes after you get your Florida license. Then you can start planning your monthly trips to WDW. I'm always planning my next trip to WDW. I have 4 left this year alone. Yep, I'm bragging and I know it's not nice. Hey, at least I didn't let out any Harry Potter spoilers.

Hey Mean Queen, just noticed you're in St. Pete! My dad lives in Pinellas Park. Not sure yet exactly where we'll end up but most likely a bit further north. We love the Ocala area, and have also spent time around Brooksville/Spring Hill.

One thing we're looking forward to is being able to camp at Ft. Wilderness JUST to camp! Granted we'll still have to make our reservations months in advance, but that's something we haven't been able to do because of the distance (driving from New England is a bear as it is, never mind towing a camper all that way!).

Is there a resident AP rate, or is it one or the other??

There is a resident AP rate. If you are a DVC member you can get your passes though at the same rate as the resident AP renewal price (slightly lower than the regular resident AP rate.) You can also get Seasonal passes that have blackout dates (all Summer and around the holidays) for cheaper. We camped for one Spring Break and didn't even visit a park. It was a lot of fun, though I don't plan to camp that late in the year again. I prefer to camp when it's cold (for FL standards.)

I want to join the tagless! I'm alright with not having one. It's just something else to separate one person from another. I never knew it was something "special" so it doesn't bother me not having one.

Having an AP is great and having an AP to the World is even better! I'd have a wallet full of AP if I were a FL resident living close to all the parks. Having a pass to the World is probably better $$$ value since DL is so much smaller.
