I don't have to work today (!!) and it's kind of rainy here, so I foresee a day full of scrapbooking and perhaps another installment in my PTR!

Are yours flannel? Those are actually on my son's bed. Middle of summer and he still wants those because they are "soft and fuzzy!"

The house was actually pretty quiet last night, I was surprised! Of course she was probably all tuckered out from her big day yesterday. I heard them playing once at some wee hour, but when I woke up at 6:30 she was curled up on the bed with me!

We got her from a family not too far from here, they had put an ad on craigslist. I'd seen lots of ads from the bigger cities but knew I didn't want to drive an hour or more, so I just kept watching and waiting, and sure enough I found one from the next town over!


Oh, and turns out she has a Mickey head on all four feet!!!

She was actually the last one left! She turned out fine, though. Nice little cat.

Here is the new kitty, for those of you waiting for a pic!

Sorry I couldn't get a better face shot but she is pooped!! Been playing all afternoon with Pippin, who loves her! Yay!! She has just moved right in, no problems at all. Even going up and down the basement stairs.

No name yet. Stay tuned.

You could name her Eowyn.
And then call her Winnie for short.

Funny you should mention Eowyn. My husband suggested Eowyn for our female cat. Our cats are named after LOTR's. I got too tounge tied trying to call "here Eowyn, Eowyn, Eowyn" We went with Moria for The Mines of Moria. Our male is Gimli.

It's hard getting computer time with 2 teens in the house. At 7:30am, they are still sleeping so it's free. Now for the coffee.

It's hard getting computer time with 2 teens in the house. At 7:30am, they are still sleeping so it's free. Now for the coffee.

That's why we have a computer for each member of the household. DH and I each have laptops. DD8 has our old PC and DD2 now uses her old PC (with all the same games she played as a kid.) When we upgrade, we just hand the old one down. My DD8 is really hoping I get a new laptop soon. Yes, she knows she's spoiled.
