Why? Do you really want to hear about my 16 things of deoderant? :rotfl2:

Thanks LegoMom. :goodvibes I'll have to figure that one out.

When you've written your post and ready to "submit," highlight all the text and then hit Ctrl-C. That copies everything that's highlighted. If you need to go back and paste it in a blank reply box (because the wonderful board logged you out or sucked your post into cyber-la-la-land...), then you hit Ctrl-V.

And as a matter of fact, yes....we would like to hear all about your "16 things of deodorant"....

Thanks for the info. I'm going to have to write it on a sticky and stick it on my computer screen until it sticks in my head. :rotfl:

Concerning the deoderant....... Do you remember a while back when I said I keep us somewhat hurricane prepared year round? It just makes things easier and gives me a little more piece of mind. Well.....With all the flu stuff going on I decided to step up my preps. And I have gone a little crazy. But I blame it on the coupons. I just can't let a good coupon go to waste. So..... I have 16 things of deoderant. And I'm not even going to mention the toothbrushes, toothpaste, toilet paper, paper towels, doggy supplies.......well, you get the idea. Its a madness I tell ya. A MADNESS. :rotfl: Somebody save me from those coupons. :lmao:

...I'll read however darned way I like....:snooty:

.

Good morning kimmar!....my but we're feeling feisty today, aren't we?!

;)

Not really, I just believe in being prepared. Really, really prepared. :rotfl:

Happy friday everyone! It's my last day of work today with the wild animal park :( But then it's Comic Con this weekend!

Where to even begin? Forst of all, TK, I am sorry that you dealt with all of that at the car dealership. I absolutely despise buying a car--I hate the way car dealerships run. The last time I bought a car (last year), I ended up filing a formal Better Business Bureau complaint. I used to think those did not work, but I saw a change in demeanor after the complaint was filed. Good luck with your hunt for a new car.

As for the Disney background, I know I need one, but other than my 2-3 times daily visit here, I'm almost a little Disney-ed out. I think it's best I pull myself away for a while. Which is hard, when you are reading DVC brochures.

I do love this monitor, Smileybug! I went into Best Buy fully intending on getting the 20" monitor. Well, they had the 23" monitor and a Printer-Scanner-Copier addin bundle for $100 more. When you are spending that kind of money, what's a hundred more, anyway? (I think for the rest of my life, all calculations are going to be done in Fuzzy Disney Math).

Kimmar--I can't work on a messy desk. I have to get to work 30 min early every morning to organize my desk for the day, I don't go out for lunch (even though I can), so I can organize my desk, and I stay 15 minutes to organize before I leave work. Can you imagine? And I have 2 desks at work--one in the classroom and one in my office!! The one at home tends to get a little more piled on it, but I am quick to do a clean up.

Oh, and Smileybug. . .are you really concerned about being that stinky? I shudder to think what you would do with the Barilla coupons we have in the house. Truthfully, however, I have really started using coupons. Nothing's better than going to the local Food Lion, not giving them my MVP card or coupons until the end and watching the numbers subtract rather than add at the grocery store.

Anna--sorry it's your last day at work at the animal park. Look on the bright side, though--you'll be starting school soon!

Hey ya'll. :goodvibes

I had a long chatty post written out to all of you. When I hit the submit button I was logged out and it didn't post. That is starting to happen a little to often. I'm not even going to try to re-write it. So ......GOOD MORNING!! That's all I have left. :rotfl:Oh, and have a great day!!

I just realized what I wrote this morning never posted! Now I can't remember what I said.

It was something along the lines of:
TK - that stinks!

Amanda - nice computer!

LegoMom - Love Bugles

Now I can add:
Smiley - 16 things of deodorant? :scared1:

And hi all.

I just got my hair cut, love it!

Did you get a trim? A new style? :confused3 I'm glad you love it. Whatever it is. :thumbsup2

If the economy implodes, if the world as we know it comes to an end or if we are attacked by zombies. (yes, you read that right) I figure I can always use the deoderant to barter with. :rotfl2::lmao:

Coupons are a good thing. :woohoo: I always save at least $30.00 - $40.00 every week. Thats a savings of $120.00 - $160.00 a month just because I took the time to clip and organize some coupons. Over the course of a year that just about pays for a trip to Disney. :thumbsup2

Well, yeah...I mean when everything around you is total chaos and people are looting for food, "not stinking" would be a high priority!

:scared1:.....when you put it that way!! But now, see, I rarely find coupons to use because I am not normally a brand-name shopper. Do you find that using coupons on major brands often comes out cheaper on a given product than the store-brand equivalent?

For instance, Cambell's soup averages around $1.25/can. The store-brand of a similar soup typically runs around $.80/can. So unless the Campbell's coupon is a real big one, I'll still do better with the store brand. kwim??

So I'm real curious how it usually works for you. Maybe I'll have to start clipping after all! Fuzzy Disney Math and all....:rolleyes1

.

So Mean Queen, when's the big unveiling??! Your fan club eagerly awaits a photo....;)

ETA: HA!!....I just saw one! ::yes:: That's a cute look for you!:thumbsup2

In my last set of pictures from Bay Lake, you can see a picture of how long my hair was. I got quite a bit chopped off.

Well, not stinking for some people is high on the priority list. :rotfl:

I shop at the dreaded Wal-mart. Most of our meat comes from Costco and most of our fresh veggies come from a local stand. I do buy mostly name brands. But I also have a lot of coupons that are in the dollar off range. So it adds up quick. Just google coupons and you will come up with all kinds of sites that show you how to really make it work. Their are even sites that let you print coupons off. (But, not all stores take printed coupons. You have to check) Once you get into it, it becomes a challenge to out do yourself. There are some stores that double and even triple your coupons. Like I said, look into some sites. You will be amazed at what you can accomplish. I didn't buy into couponing either. I thought it was a waste of time. But I have a sister that has done this for years. I finally listened to her. :goodvibes :thumbsup2

Mean Queen.....I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your hair!! :thumbsup2

Mine is just a tad shorter than that. But mine is curly. I've straightened it a few times. But it just doesn't look right to me. But when it is straight it handles the humidity better.

My hair is actually curly too. When I have it cut, I usually have it blown out and wear it like that for a few days. I can never get it like that myself. I'll be interested to see how much I like the cut when I wear it natural.

Good morning! Happy Saturday! Hope whatever you're up today that it's fun and relaxing.

We're having a yard sale in a while. We're one of three in the park today! Hopefully business will be good.:thumbsup2

Smileybug, how are you quoting without the box??:confused3

I'm not really. I'm just getting rid of the "Quotes"

Have fun with your yard sale. I hope it is a big money maker. :thumbsup2

No real plans here other than some yard and house work. It is sooooo muggy this morning.

AND A BIG GOOD MORNING TO THE REST OF YA'LL!! :goodvibes
