How does the tag fairy pick you? Does your writing need to be in color to get tagged? Thanks-I've been on here for a while but never got the whole TF business.

The Tag Fairy "lurks" on all the boards and reads the threads. If she/he feels that you say something particularly tag-worthy (and only the Tag Fairy knows for sure) they will "quote" you, in color, under your user name. No need to use color...that's part of the Tag Fairy magic!

NEVER NEVER NEVER delete your tags that you get from the Tag Fairy! That's like DIS-sacrilege!!!

Some folks have done it by accident and in some cases the TF graciously re-bestows them. But it is generally not accepted practice to delete them...unless you're one of those folks who just doesn't like them (and there are a few).
