Trying to figure out the lingo..

What is the tag fairy??

Is there a name for the holiday animations that get sent around...like the shamrock I have??

There are several tag fairies and they often eye your posts and pull out embarrassing or funny saying from what you posted and place them under your user name in a rainbow of colors.

They also try to mess with your brain sometimes while you are posting so BEWARE

They kinda have a love-hate reslationship with posters kinda like Pooh does with heffalumps and woozles

It is all anonymous. The moderators couldn't even catch them if we tried! The move fast!

I've heard they have a naughty mat but yes no one knows who they are, when they will show up and even moderators are not safe They know the DIS guidelines pretty well so I think they would not be ones to get "points".

Yeah, never take pain pills and continue posting. . . Although I wasn't a moderator when I got that tag . But I swear that sneaky fairy waits until you are three sheets to the wind or talking about poo and then whammo-- you get a tag!

It really is all in fun and most everyone absolutely loves it when they get a tag. It can take years though sometimes. (or one ill advised night on the computer after surgery. . .)
