Tag fairy got me!!

Just noticed that the tag fairy got me!! Wonder how long it's been there without me noticing! Cool!!

What is the Tag Fairy?

You know where it says Welcomed Guest or DIS Veteran under your name? The "tag fairies" have the power to change that to something else. Once you've been around for a while you can get "tagged"

Once you've been on the board for 30 days, you should be able to change DIS Veteran by yourself by going to your User CP and editing your profile. You can type in any kind of saying you want (within reason) and it will be in black type, just like DIS Veteran. However, the tag fairy can give you a tag that is in color! I need to warn you, though, sometimes the tag is something you've said, so you might watch what you say! (My tag is an example of the put-your-foot-in-your-mouth tag. I'm still happy, though!) Once you've been tagged by the tag fairy, though, don't mess with your tag, or it could get erased. I've read a couple of posts from people who accidentally erased theirs.

Thanks, I was happy to get an explanation as well. I've seen the Tag Fairy's name mentioned so many times but wasn't quite sure what it was all about. Okay TF, catch me if you can!!!

I can relate to what you are saying about the tag fairy. I once asked for a little color to my tag and I got just that. The line "A little color" added to my tag.

So Calypso*a*go*go be careful what you ask for.
